I had the okrochokie as an appetizer. It was very delicious. My entree did not disappoint and the bread pudding yummy. Get the one with whiskey. So good.

I visited this place Saturday with some friends. We tried some appetizers first and decided that we would go somewhere else since we didn’t really enjoy the food. It was just okay but definitely wanted better Louisiana style cuisine. While we were waiting on our checks we seen an employee giving another employee a haircut in the kitchen/bar area. We literally could not believe our eyes and were so disgusted. Unfortunately TikTok was wrong about this place. We will never return and have told some of our friends to beware of this place.

Amazing food. The service was great. Our waitress was hilarious. We had the Blackened chicken breast with a side of red beans and rice. It was an explosion of flavor. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The BBQ shrimp over grits appetizer was DELICIOUS! The grits were creamy and a little spicy. Just the right touch! The seafood gumbo was superb. The collard greens were delicious!! The Chocolate Pecan pie was awesome. Rich and chocolatey. As someone who lived in Louisiana many years, I can honestly say that this place is LEGIT!! WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!! THANKS AL AND THE CAJUN YARD DOG TEAM!!!

This place is sooo good.Went for the first time and everything we ordered was delicious.We had the Shrimp and Grits and Crab cake for appetizers.Crab cake wasn’t all pasty and doughy.Was light and refreshing topped with an Aioli sauce made it right.My wife had the Shrimp and Oysters for her entree.She thoroughly enjoyed them. I had the Chicken Jambalaya and it was superb!And the portions were hefty. If someone has an issue with the food here,it’s because their taste buds are off. We will be making this spot a favorite!
My hubs and I had dinner there a few nights ago and it was so flavorful! We started with the mushrooms and fried green tomatoes ( the red pepper sauce on the tomatoes was perfect!) Both had a light batter. I ordered the cordon bleu, the sauce was a treat with sweet corn and red pepper, my tastebuds were dancing! The fried okra and Mac&cheese were scrumptious! The hubs ordered the catfish with collards and a delicious creamy slaw. If we hadn’t ordered the apps, we would’ve definitely cleared our plates. Debbie was our spunky server, absolutely loved her and hopefully will have her the next time we come! Great experience all around!

I got there right when they opened so no one was there the woman at the bar was very helpful and nice I loved her. The food was not that great it looked good but the seasoning wasnt there at all was a little disappointed because I love cajun food. I got 2 crab cakes ( taste more like regular salmon patties ), greens ( no seasoning at all ), fried okra ( the best ), gumbo ( no seasoning at all ), and chicken seafood jambalaya ( small amount of seasoning could have used alot more ). Hope this helped have a good week. :)
