You can choose from various selections including pre orders of cakes and pastries. We have been using this place on and off for nearly 20 years. My wife loves it. So we decided to get her birthday cake here. Went to the store to pick out and order a cake. After waiting in line it was my turn and I was told they will not take my order, I need to do it myself online. And if I had nothing else, NEXT! Kind of like the Seinfeld episode about the Soup Naiz guy. Just because I eat cakes, does not mean I know anything about how they're built or how to order them. So I left and I called. Very unhelpful lady picked up demanding exact time, exact hour, I will pickup after I told her we needed it by the end of Friday. Then we move on to the cake, where I was expected to know exactly what I wanted, and instead of helping me with the selection, told me I need to go look at it online because she does not have time to explain. Real nice customer service touch. Shame. Our local Harris's Teeter has infinitely better customer service in their bakery department. Much sweeter and no arrogance. If you want horrible UX for high dollar, welcome to Suarez! Or just walk to the other side of the building, and enjoy something from Amelie's Bakery. . We did get the cake at the end of the week. Little soggy and runny on the inside.

We had the pretzel twist donut, apple fritter, ginger oatmeal cookie, lemon bar, coconut cake slice, peanut butter cup cookie, morning bun, and butter croissant. Everything was phenomenal! We will definitely return.

Excellent find in the Southpark area! I loved the strawberry cake and pb&j doughnut. My friend had the s’mores pie and loved it as well.

For birthdays and special occasions I must have Suárez because their cakes are simply delicious!! Usually my husband deals with them and because of that I had no idea how rude they are! Last week I was there and purchased multiple bakery items, when one was marked with the incorrect price she simply confirmed the price was wrong then told me I had to pay the actual price, this was after it had been boxed up. I told her I didn’t want it if that was the price (a difference of $3) so she very rudely took it out of the box and put it back in the case. I have spent a lot of money here in the past and felt like anywhere else would have honored the price shown and then corrected it. That was not the case here... I decided to let it go bc they never let my taste buds down and called A few days later with questions about a cake I wanted to order.... the girl on the phone was so rude and acted like my questions were so d*** and a waste of her time... I’m sorry, I do not work there and know all about your cakes, so I may have questions when wanting to place an order or pick up a cake. I don’t care how good your cakes are, they can’t cover the bad taste in my mouth from horrible customer service! It’s sad bc I feel like the owner of the business would have honored the price and would have been happy to answer my questions. I know I would at my business to give my customers the best experience. It’s sad to me that a sales girl with a bad attitude has lost my business for your shop. I won’t be back... and I will definitely miss your cakes, cookies and cream horns!!!!

I purchased a custom-designed cake from here for my daughter's birthday. All I can say is: They really made her birthday special! From the beautiful topper to the elegantly swirled frosting, it was magnificent. She was ecstatic to get a fancy cake, and it was pretty affordable as well on my part. All in all, I would recommend Suarez Bakery!
