Calle Sol is probably my favorite restaurant in Charlotte. Great atmosphere, service, and even better food. The ceviches are all really fresh and delicious and the Vaca frita is incredible. I haven't ventured into the chino-latino menu because the traditional latin dishes are so good, but I'm sure they are all great as well. Easy 5 stars. I only wish I worked closer so I could take advantage of their lunch specials.

I have became a regular here and they never disappoint! I get the pollo frita how it comes and I love it! The drinks here are okay. I wish they sold coffee! Also the sandwiches will fill you up.

Lunch date with my daughters and some friends. First time visiting this restaurant. The food and service were outstanding. We tried several dishes. Lomo saltado, chaufa rice, salad , sandwich de pollo and Cuban fried rice. Every dish was delicious. We will definitely return soon !

Small place with big flavors and large portions. My adult sons and I each ordered something different and all entrees were delicious. We tried the Pollo Frita, Vaca Frita, Lechon Asado and a side of Maduros. So much left over food, we took some home and it was yummy heated up later. I wanted to try the flan, but had no room left.

The real real deal. Wonderfully prepared rice, beans, pulled pork tacos, plantains, ceviche. Great drinks and beers. In a great part of town. Fun and hip.

I absolutely LOVE Calle Sol! I come here probably a little too often, but I don't see it as a problem. Their ceviche is great, the croquetas are delicious, and the cuban fried rice is my go-to every time I come here. They are so reasonably priced, especially for the portion sizes, I always have a left over box. When I'm able to make it for lunch, their lunch specials are also incredible and can't be beat. Parking can be a bit tricky, but once you circle the block you should be good to go.
