Stopped in for lunch and had an amazing meal. Our waiter Diego was fantastic. We started our meal with the Yuquitas de Queso with cilantro aioli. Our main dishes were the Pollo Frita & Miami Cubano Sandwiches. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Also thank you to Diego for recommending the banana pudding tres leches. It was one of the best ones I’ve had. Will most definitely stop by again.
I went because I heard that they had the best Cubano sandwich in Charlotte. That may be true, it was good, but not as good as Miami's Little Havana, of course. The meat is fine, but the salami on one of them is Boar's head sandwich meat, as per an article in Charlotte Magazine. The ham is nothing special, but the bread is authentic, and they do a good job of copying the Cubano from Miami. Service was abysmal on a Thursday night at 6:30. My cocktail never arrived, my...
