WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!!It was my wife’s birthday celebration and we had a group of 12. The evening started with continuous waits for drinks and the initial appetizers. These waits were between 45 minutes to 1 hour. All the time we’re getting apologies from the waitress and it got to the point that we requested for a manager. The “manager” comes out and I explain the wait issue and the fact that the waitress seemed overwhelmed by the size of our group and that she was in need of additional hands to get her through our group. What I expected was this manager to help out the waitress or even find another waiter to help get through our table. WELL I WAS WRONG. This young girl who definitely was not the manager didn’t even try to help or get the waitress help. She just listened to the issues in pointed and said “Oh, I will talk to her”. To which I pointed, she needs help not a talk and then she walked away. Nothing changed the food and drink were delayed and the ones that did come were not to my parties (and myself) satisfaction. Food was cold and bland. Plates didn’t look like they were prepared with any care. The drinks were, in the waitress’s own words “missing ingredients” which made a margarita taste like a lemonade Kool Aid. At that point, we just wanted our checks to get out of the restaurant. The checks came and of course, most of them had wrong charges and tickets had items that we’re not correct. Mind you, before the tickets were made, we told the waitress which groups were together and which was each others items, drinks and food. Seemed like the waitress forgot what we spoke 10 minutes prior and just created tickets as how she thought it was correct. The tickets were so incorrect that she charge one of our friends card with ANOTHER TABLES bill. Unfortunately, the mitigar ended with the waitress apologizing and actually taking money out of her wallet to get my friends bill straight after she charged her for another table.I have never been so embarrassed and felt so bad for someone. This waitress just needed someone to come and help her and her manager did nothing to make it easier or to make sure the customer had a better experience than what we had as of when she was spoken to. WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT AND NEITHER SHOULD ANYONE.

Just so happens they closed, last week we had dinner here, total nightmare!!! You could definitely see this coming. Our waiter was literally doing everything!! The AC was out and the heat made the whole night a living hell, (literally). Drinks were being dropped, the checks came out all wrong, she charged our cards different amounts than what the checks said, but the heat?? Holly mother of God!!! Unbearable. And one week later we find out they closed. I am glad we were part of history. I do have to say, the highlight of the night was, that when she brought the checks, she included one of my buddies dinner in mine, when we asked her about it she said she thought me and him were a couple!!! Not his wife by his side, but us!!! Wtf!!! Lolllll

We've been to this restaurant several times and always had a great experience...until this visit. The service was terrible with a lot of excuses. For example, it took 30 minutes after ordering to get a beer. Then after ordering food, it took 30-40 to get our meals except one. They brought one meal (party of 4 so three of us just sat there for 30 minutes watching her eat) then brought the rest out 30 minutes later. We were there 2.75 hours for a simple meal. Either the server needs better training or the restaurant needs better organization. We were very dissatisfied.

Rated in the top 5 Mexican restaurants in Charlotte. It did not disappoint. Drinks were perfect. Appetizers were fresh and hot. Salsa is one of the best tasting I have ever had. And the food was excellent and alot of food. Would recommend

Really tasty food and drinks! I ordered the pastelitos and they were amazing! Seriously, if your looking for a meal that is different than the typical Mexican food, get them! My new favorite Mexican restaurant in a Charlotte. Also, it is within walking distance of many other food and desert spots!
Our waitress was amazing! Very knowledgeable about the menu and drink options. 10 diners total and everyone enjoyed their food! She was also great at suggesting adult drinks. 3 drinks ordered, three drinks enjoyed! Food came out quickly, was hot and yummy. Table salsa was really fresh and tasted super authentic, IMHO. Brought in cake from outside with no issues. They provided small plates and utensils without me even asking. Also offered to keep the cake in their fridge until we were ready for it. Only reason for an over 4 star rating was the heat! Restaurant was just short of sweltering. The AC had to be broken. Other than that, wonderful experience for my son's 16th bday dinner!

Not authentic Mexican food. I'm from Texas and the salsa was not flavorful. I ordered the spinach enchiladas and could not finish them. I only ate the black beans. The service was not good, the waiter spent most of his time taking to the other servers and our drinks were empty quick.

The food overall wasn’t . However, the service is an entirely different story. After our guacamole appetizer was put down we did not see our server again for the entire duration of our meal. She never checked on us and our drinks were never refilled. We flagged down another server to see if we could get our check and about 10 more minutes passed and finally our server came to our table. Do not recommend going here.

I had a Thai chili shrimp taco and an Al pastor taco. Both were yummy! The margaritas were good, but a tad too sweet. The queso was SO good, but for nearly $12, the portion was unexpectedly sweet. Our waitress was very nice and attentive!Vegetarian options: I did note several vegetarian options on the menu!Kid-friendliness: It would be totally appropriate to bring a child!Parking: It is in a large shopping center with a huge parking lot in the middle of the shopping center.Wheelchair accessibility: Single level with options for tables and booths. The bathroom would be a bit difficult to navigate in a wheelchair.
