Extremely Disappointing Experience
We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. We ordered two Rigatoni with chicken—one for me and one for my friend—but they only brought out one dish. After asking several times about the missing plate, we eventually had to walk over to the open kitchen ourselves to understand what was happening.
The owner’s response was shocking: “We are busy—just wait another 20 minutes or get a refund.” This is absolutely unacceptable. When a restaurant makes a mistake, the least they can do is prioritize fixing it, not dismiss their customers.
Poor service, poor attitude, and a complete lack of professionalism. Definitely not coming back.

Fast casual Italian has no business being this good!! The San Lorenzo pasta is my go-to; I love that they have gluten free noodles for a reasonable upcharge. Such a good value when you want something affordable and quick.

The food is made with heart, soul, and real Italian. Everything is fresh and tastes that way. The atmosphere is very laid back for the downtown location. Albert and Mateo were amazing and made sure we were taken care of from drinks, apps, and main course!

Had dinner here tonight and it was amazing! Fresh homemade pasta, fresh wood fired pizza dough, and homemade meatballs! All the food had great flavor and the vibe was super chill. Albert, the owner, was so accomodating and had great recommendations on what to try. We will definitely be back to support this locally owned downtown Charlotte spot!

My pasta was completely tasteless — very disappointing. Unfortunately, when I politely shared my feedback, Albert responded rudely and disrespectfully. That kind of attitude is unacceptable for any establishment that values its customers. If I could rate them zero stars, I absolutely would! If you plan on visiting this place, please do NOT order their Alfredo pasta — it’s disgusting. It’s clear the owner doesn’t appreciate honest feedback about their food.

I've ordered two different dishes with broccolini in the description and each time I received the food, it's straight up broccoli. Otherwise, the food is good and the service is quick. Bring back broccolini!!

Very nice Italian food and a combination of sit down and fast food.
My wife had the pasta with chicken, I had the pasta with sausage and broccoli. The food was good and the atmosphere and ambiance were welcoming.

Postmates so cant speak to service or atmosphere. The white pizza is not terrible but id give it 2 stars, its not good. The italian sandwich is -1x as it might be the most disgusting thing ive ever eaten. I threw it away. Salad 1* .75* i guess this place has bad food
