Catawba has a location in Charlotte now so my friend and I stopped in to have a round and had a good time. I selected one of the IPAs and enjoyed it. We sat outside and listened to live music but if you want to sit inside it is spacious as well. Cheers!

There is plenty of indoor seating and some outside seating at the brewery. They have popcorn, pretzel bagged snacks, but there's no kitchen/food. There is a laidback vibe. It is dog friendly. There is a wide range of beers on draft: dark, sour, cider, pales. It is a neat space to hang out. The bartenders were friendly and patient as I sampled various beers. Various events are hosted throughout the week.

First of all, the drinks are some of the best in Charlotte. The concept is really neat and I’m excited to see the direction they take it.

I've loved the Catawba White Zombie since I found it, so visiting this brewery was a must! We had a zombie flight - strawberry zombie, blackberry zombie, lemon ginger zombie and white zombie. All of those are great but I wasn't in the mood for the ginger and they substituted the light white zombie for it. The fruity aftertaste of the strawberry and blackberry zombies are refreshing but not overpowering, great flavor. Service was friendly, atmosphere fun, and beers flavorful! We will go back when they have food trucks. There is a deli a couple doors down but we did not try it on this trip.

Awesome selection of beers. Always recommend getting a sampler or two and then picking your favorites to get a full pint. Love the sours. Their espresso porter was super smooth and the coffee blonde was my favorite. Service is great. Huge indoor and outdoor spaces.

Sweet potato pie beer is my new favorite craft beer! It's from Palmetto brewery, which is part of Catawba brewery now. Amazing cinnamon notes and sweet potato flavors in the beer! Loved it and feel like it's the perfect dessert in the fall. They have it in six packs at the brewery but it's a small batch so buy and stock up when you go to Catawba brewery. Parking is in the lot or streets nearby if it's crowded. Great service from the bar tender who gave me samples to decide what to buy.

Many years ago I went to Catawba Brewing in Asheville and since I moved to Charlotte a few months ago I have enjoyed many White Zombies at local bars and restaurants. I recently made my way to the brewery here in Charlotte and this location is totally huge! The service was good and all the beers we tried were good as well. My favorite of this visit was the pumpkin, get it while you can!!

Good size brewing space with tables inside and outside. It seems to be a popular destination for many people. It was quite crowded and parking was challenging. Covid-19 precautions were being observed and practice by staff and patrons. They offer a wide variety of brews and pricing is quite reasonable. There are different events offered, such as a Trivia night. The evening we were there, there was a dance class going on in the parking lot. It was fun to drink our beverages and watch the action of the JMT CLT DANCE class. Great place to visit and I would like to return.

7/17/21 visit for after dinner beers. It's been awhile since I visited Catawba, although I am a big fan of their White Zombie. As like most breweries in CLT this location is very spacious inside and has a large patio. Sitting on the patio you have a somewhat obstruct view of downtown skyline but neat to see. Several large bars inside as well as roll up windows to access from the patio (when needed). We enjoyed a couple white zombies, both were served cold and with proper head. 2 girls working behind the bar, enough to mange the current level of customers- they were doing a great job!
