If you're looking for a new spot for Mexican and an overall vibe this is the place! They recently changed ownership and I have had the chance to stop in a few times since it is super convenient here in Ballantyne! The space has had a major face-lift and the vibe is so cool - chill spot for lunch but at night feels like a Latin cocktail lounge with the dim lighting and awesome decor. The wicker covered overhead lights and Azul (blue) color behind the bar make it feel so warm and cozy.

My servers have all been really nice and very attentive. They made me feel at home. And the food is amazing... my favorites here are the Azul margarita (their namesake cocktail), the Chili Relleno, and the Pollo Campestre (pictured here). My only problem is I don't have enough space for all the food I want to eat! 😂

Wish it didnt change. The food was not great. White rice for the ACP left it tasting bland. I had the soup and although the presentation was good, it wasn't as good as when it was Tequila.

We came in with a big group of 10, including four kids, and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made us feel welcome right away. Service was smooth and the food was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we were hoping for. We’ll definitely be back!

Our local Mexican restaurant. Very good service. The carne asada is EXACTLY what you hope for. The chips and salsa are perfect. I am so glad that this place is here.

This place is amazing! They have a huge pitcher margarita that is amazing and tasty! The staff is what sets this place apart! The staff are super friendly and amazing service!! I love this place and will return over and over again! Never going anywhere else! The drinks are beyond amazing!! I suggest the Hibiscus margarita!!

Went for dinner and what we thought there were half-price margaritas. Obviously the advertisement doesn’t tell you that it is only house margaritas. Warning you should know that before ordering. Went to pay at the end and they did nothing to adjust for the fact that the advertisement doesn’t show that. No concessions will be had so just be aware.

Service was slow, asked at least 4 times for a glass of water. Margarita was good but nachos were just ok. I wasn't impressed honestly. I've had better Mexican food and atmosphere in Charlotte.
