the food was great but they were out of almost everything on the menu. We couldn't get the food we wanted and really the only option was the steak. The steak was delicious but we did not go expecting to order the most expensive thing
We enjoyed several different tapa plates and each one was delicious. The shrimp was amazing along with the garlic sauce it was cooked in - perfect for the rustic bread dipping! Rings were also awesome!
We had a great Saturday brunch here! Everything we got was amazing! Brunch paella as the main course and shrimp and grits and French toast tapas as appetizers. Staff was friendly and provided great service. Parking at the deck next door is validated by the restaurant. Only suggestion is the turn down the music a little:) we will be back!!
Very cool venue inside the old church. Flits an eclectic menu and the food (brunch) was very good. Interesting version of tuna crisp, fascinating pulled duck Benedict and delicious apple bourbon French toast. Service while incredibly friendly was a bit slow—oddly especially the bar. We weren't in any hurry so really didn't care but if you have another commitment it might be something to consider. We will go back for dinner though as the food (which is very reasonably priced) was intriguing.
Great dinner! This was the last day of the winter menu and we enjoyed everything. Can't wait to come back to enjoy the Spring menu.
Server was fantastic. I get that it is tapas style however the portions were smaller than anticipated and it was just two of us.
Me and a group of ladies came here for a girls brunch I had planned and I was honestly very disappointed. I had a 12:30 reservation. 1) As soon as I was seated, I was told they were out of all shrimp, the hash and grits. Mind you the restaurant was practically empty when I arrived. We were told that the Saturday brunch crowd wiped out a bunch of their food, which left a limited menu for Sunday's brunch. 2) We ordered from the limited menu, but then was told they ran out of potatoes and cranberry juice for the $1 mimosa deal they had. Cranberry juice can be bought at the many grocery stores nearby, so I'm not sure why that didn't happen. They did send fries for free, but we wanted the bravas potatoes at a Spanish tapas restaurant. 3) The food was hit and miss. The avocado toast barely had any avocado. It was painted on so thin and had more cheese shredded on top than actual avocado. Some of the fries sent to our table were flat out cold. We ordered a breakfast sandwich, with no bacon, with bacon on the side but the bacon was still on the sandwich. The shrimp ceviche dish (subbed with mahi) had maybe 3 small bites of fish, which wasn't worth it for the price. 4) Our server seemed a bit overwhelmed. She was very nice but there was another large group of about 12 women also doing a brunch. Our server also waited that table, along with our group of 8 and some other smaller tables. She didn't check in as often as I'd like. She did apologize at the end saying “it was busier than expected” but I know for a fact that the other women had made a reservation, just like I did. There were maybe 4 other smaller tables around besides the two big groups. All in all, very disappointed in this brunch and I'll be hesitant on going back. Management needs to do a better job with staffing and food.
The cocktails and sangria were wonderful; the sangria was authentic. Wonderful Spanish wine list. The food was great, but not as authentic tasting, maybe less garlic or herbs used than would be in Spain? Though it was very good, I will dine here again. Great ambiance and wonderful staff.
Super dope vibes amazing service I had the oxtail hash for brunch with an espresso and basque cheesecake definitely worth it in every aspect
Alejo brought the best energy during his time serving our table of two. He was attentive and he was the best part of the experience. Food was good too.

Excellent tapas! The beet salad with the goat cheese and creamed pistachio base is the best I've ever had!! Service was fantastic !
Modern décor with comfortable seats. Good view of kitchen from many seats and also of the Rail Trail just outside. Variety of hot and cold menu items. Server very knowledgeable about menu items.
Fantastic! Amazing food and great service. Had 6 tapas and all were beautifully plated and delicious. We can't wait to come back. Great atmosphere too!
We loved our first experience at Catalu. The ceviche and paella were very tasty! The manager topped off our wine “just because” and wished us a happy anniversary. It was a great experience.
Solid tapas/spanish plates in an intimate dim setting with excellent service. Our server Joseph gave great descriptions of food items and some nice wine recommendations. Look forward to returning!
