Six of us had dinner here for my birthday. The service was great, it was a busy Friday night but not too loud. The appetizers were served very quickly, and surprisingly larger portions. The brussel sprouts were some of the best I've ever had. I got the pokeball for dinner and it was one of the best I've ever had. Everyone was really happy with their meal, can't wait to come back!

Catalina Kitchen & Bar was fantastic! The bartender Kyla gave us amazing service – attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend!

Wow. We were going to the home show and found this place via Google . Food was outstanding. Those roasted brussel sprouts were out this world . I literally could have had that as an entree. The shrimp/lobster roll was equally delicious. Fresh and crunchy and quite tasty. Service was outstanding . Definitely be back

The wine, cocktails, ambiance and food were all fantastic. The pasta is homemade and would absolutely recommend the wild mushroom dish as well as the seafood tagliatelle. The gelato on the dessert menu is a great compliment to the meal!

Excellent food. Homemade pasta, great bread burrata and lobster rolls. There's plenty of seating and good outdoor space as well. The parking garage makes access easy.

Great Lunch Location. 4.5 stars! (I rarely give out a 5 star) For lunch it's really quite quick to get bite, it's a bit cheaper than dinner, and the food is still great. The wraps are big enough to share or take home, taste really fresh and have tons of flavor. I really like the appetizers as a shareable option.
Go here for a fresh lunch and you'll probably have enough to take home and eat the next day, but the atmosphere won't be as good at your cubicle the next day; Maybe that delicious meal will take you back to a better place in your memories.

Wife and I were in town for a business trip and needed a place to eat a late lunch. The staff was wonderful and attentively, polar opposite to a more pricier and upscale restaurant in Uptown.

The restaurant has plenty of windows so it's well lit and welcoming.

We got the lunch menu and ordered the shrimp and lobster roll, the shrimp Taglitalle) and poke bowl.

The shrimp and lobster roll was great. The pasta was tasty but felt they could have given more pasta. The poke bowl though, was drenched in sauce. Not to be mean, but guess that's what we get for ordering a non-American dish in an American restaurant.

We ate all the tuna and requested the waitress for white rice to soak up the sauce. It made it manageable but still not the best. The waitress was very nice about it and even offered to take it off the bill. We didn't want them to lose money over it and said it's ok.

They validate your parking which is nice - and honestly a reason we ate here rather than the other restaurants across the street. Parking in the garage is so expensive that I fear the neighboring restaurants will start losing business as I believe it's a new garage since many stores were still renovating.

We had an early dinner here on 9/21/24 with Paul as our waiter. Salmon Salad was wonderful as was our service. Restaurant also has very comfortable seating.

I asked our server for a steak knife and 2 plates so my friend and I could share a burger and the harvest salad. She asked the kitchen to split both entrees. This extra level of service made our lunch more enjoyable. The quality of the beef in the burger was exceptional. The temp was perfect. I agreed to share the harvest salad just to be polite. It was amazing. Our server recommended adding salmon next time. We took a photo of the description of that salad on the menu so we could attempt to replicate it at home. It's that good. The space is quite large and nicely appointed. I hope Charlotteans support it and keep it busy.

Vegetarian options: Creative and delicious salads that even people who don't like salad will enjoy.

My husband and I dined here for dinner for the first time after a pretty horrible day at the hospital. We saw the reviews and the menu and decided to check out Catalina. The Whipped buratta was incredible. The Brussels were very soggy, but tasty. The pastas (Tagliatelle and pepper Dell) are some of the best we've ever had! Kristi was very attentive, professional and just a breathe of fresh air! We will definitely be back for her and that Buratta!
