The staff at this location is not pleasant at all. They barely give you any rice and then want to up charge you for more rice ($2) on top of a $15 dollar bowl. Is inflation that bad? Then I can’t even get my food in a bag, staff told me to bag it myself.

I used to frequent this Cava but recently have noticed a significant drop in the amount of Black employees and an increase in White employees. Seeing as they seem to only value a certain type of worker, I will be taking my Black dollar elsewhere.

This review is for the University City location only. Went here and felt rushed and dismissed. My Wife asked for all the topping except two, which she received but they didn't give her very much of the toppings. That left a bad taste in her mouth as she felt like they rushed her threw the line and didn't give her an opportunity to say that she wanted more. Pita Chips are our Go-to and I will have to say they appeared to be cold upon receiving them or not freshly cooked as they were barely warm. Probably won't be coming back to this location but I will also take into consideration that they probably deal with a lot of younger people as the college is across the street. Cava in Concord will now be my Go-To! *Update - I have since gone back and the service has improved.
Food was delicious, portions were large and very customizable. Great option for vegetarians as well. Staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly! Will be coming here again
