This CAVA location was extremely disappointing. The team was unprofessional, and the manager on duty, Luna, was not pleasant or receptive to feedback. They were out of falafel and several vegetables, yet still wanted to charge extra for rice. I mixed two greens and was told the rice would cost extra, which made no sense given the lack of vegan options.
When I shared my concern, the manager focused on explaining everything that was going wrong instead of listening. She mentioned the store had been closed for two days, the truck with vegetables was late, and that with a staff of four, food prep wasn’t a priority. While I understand challenges happen, that does not excuse poor customer service or charging extra when core menu items are unavailable especially for vegan customers.
I love CAVA and this location is closer to me, but there is always an issue with my order here, which is why I often leave reviews. A free drink or pita was offered, but that wasn’t the point—I wanted the bowl I came for.
I will be returning to the Concord location moving forward. If this location continues operating this way, I honestly don’t see how it will stay in business. Very disappointed.

I have been to just about every Cava in the Charlotte area and I can honestly say this one by far is the worst!!! It is a rare occasion that I go and they are NOT out of something and they are not that busy to constantly be out of stock, this is the only location that never asks do you want pita bread, and some of them catch an attitude when you ask them to walk from the register to get it for you! I live close to this location but, I will save myself the aggravation and drive to the university location.
