I love Central Fish Market! I bought crabs there, and they were amazing. The crabs were big and perfectly cooked, and the meat was sweet and tasty. You can tell they sell only the freshest seafood.
Jenny, the lady who helped me, was super friendly and kind. She made the whole experience so pleasant.
I’ll be back every week! If you love seafood, you must visit Central Fish Market. It’s the best!

I cannot believe what I experienced today, (12/14/24) at Central Fish Market! I’ve been a long-time customer of theirs so I am truly shocked by this experience. A Latina woman walked in ‘after’ I did waiting to be helped. There were only 2 women workers in the front and they were both cleaning fish. The short, chubby Latina woman started talking Spanish to the lady that came in ‘after’ I did and started getting her some shrimp. This bothered me that she decided to help someone that came in after I did but I let it go and did not say a word about the blatant disrespect. After she gave the woman her shrimp, she looked at me with a nasty smirk and turned around and started back cleaning the fish without saying a word to me! Everyone in the market was in disbelief at what she just did! I just walked out. Before I drove off, I called into the market and asked if a manager was on duty. The same rude woman answered the phone and told me NO and hung up on me! I called right back and asked her why she hung up on me and she stated because I asked for a manager and she told me one wasn’t there, as if that was an acceptable reason to hang up on someone. The type of unprofessional and rude behavior this woman has is totally unacceptable and she should not be allowed to interact with any customers. Management should really think about how many customers she has ran off. She does not represent your business well at all and you should really think hard about keeping her on as a part of your team.

Choose the fish you want by the pound, and they cook them while you wait. Yummy. If you want a sandwich you will need to bring your own bread. Thru are closed on Sunday and Tuesday.. Enjoy.

Awful!!! The portions are not good. The quality of the fish is horrible. I actually had my fish fried and it had a rubbery exterior and mushy on the inside. Don’t waste your time or money at this location.
Good selection of fish and shellfish at a good price per pound. Everything was fresh, cleaned and cut per my preference and it was clean inside. They also cook fish on site as well.

The seafood here is pretty fresh. I have bought multiple fish varieties and they all tasted delicious. They do a good job of cleaning the fish and they provide ice so you can transport the seafood home. Last week I had them fry some croacker and hushpuppies and I couldn't wait to get home before I dug in. They can get pretty busy around lunchtime and right before closing time so plan your visits accordingly.
