This is a super convenient place off Central to grab a tea and a Bahn mi. Plenty of parking and the service is friendly and fast.
I am partial to the lemongrass tofu sandwich, so I haven't tried a lot of the other sandwiches. I like how they are not stingy on the veggies/herbs and the bread is appropriately crispy. They also if course have a unique selection of teas and the tapioca bobas have never been too tough like many other boba places. They have plenty of fruity flavors, as well.
Love this location because I know it is reliable and it tends to be on my driving routes. Stop by!

Try their Vietnamese-style coffee that’s rich, smooth, and unforgettable. Love matcha or chia? Covered. Not into tea at all? You can still enjoy a refreshing mango juice, slushie, or smoothie.
If you’re hungry, don’t skip the Banh Mis. They’re easily some of the highest-quality, most flavorful, refreshing, and filling sandwiches around. My personal favorites are the lemongrass chicken and the house special, honestly you can’t go wrong with either!
The atmosphere is just as great as the menu. Whether you’re catching up with friends, studying, or enjoying a quiet moment with a book, it’s a welcoming and cozy space. The owner is incredibly kind and always makes you feel at home, which is why I keep coming back.

Central Tea House is really good! The service is quick and friendly every time I visit. The last time I went, they were out of matcha, but I tried the oolong tea instead and it was delicious. Definitely a great spot for tea lovers!
Best boba shop in Charlotte. Taro milk tea is either a hit or miss with flavor but this place is a HIT! Right when I saw the color of this milk tea I knew it was going to be good (picture does not do it justice). This place is a hidden gem and definitely worth a try! So many food, drink, and pastry options for great prices. Please never go out of business 🙏

Their boba drinks are more nostalgic than the newer ones that are modernized. I truly hope Central Tea House will continue thriving!

Wonderful hidden GEM in Charlotte. Hospitality is top notch, the owner, Phu, took our order and was incredibly kind and thoughtful. Jasmine green tea was high quality and made for a refreshing Passion Fruit jelly tea. Bahn Mi was also phenomenal.
Please give this place a visit!!! Much better to spend your money here vs a corporate establishment. Small businesses such as his deserve much more!
