The food was good but the wait time and service wasn't. The waiter gave one person everyones drinks to pass around and one person plates to pass around ourselves. He checked on us twice and both times he got one person's request and walked away, ignoring the other 9 people. The appetizers legit came out after our entree's.

I don’t know why this place gets so much hate. The menu is huge. Some things are going to be hits and some are going to be misses. So I ask the staff for their recommendations. It is busy. As an aside, I don’t get why folks hate on this as a first date. There is something that will accommodate all tastes. You can share dessert and let your hair down. It might not be the finest steakhouse, but there are worse places to make a connection.

Typical cheesecake factory, pretty decent. Our server we've had a couple of times now always seems forgetful and lackadaisical though.

This place is constantly understaffed…. Especially the kitchen. Apparently, according to our server’s expertise, each table takes approximately 30-40 minutes to be served their food which is absolutely normal.
My dish arrived with 2 sets of hairs… my father ordered a simple cheeseburger and it was delivered to the table without his fries…. They arrived 15-20 minutes later and the server refused to take accountability of this oversight by saying “I don’t make the food and there’s nothing I can do about it”
It doesn’t take a genius to send a dish back with another person’s DNA embedded into the plate… the local manager thought she did me a favor by not charging me for it but did charge me for the re-made entree.
I guess we’re at a point in the world where restaurants don’t feel the need to compensate customers for shitty experiences?
Tried to give the CF another shot, but looks like we’ll have cut ties with this franchise
The Cheese Factory in Charlotte is a must-visit for cheese lovers and anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal! We were impressed by both their dinner and brunch offerings. Their cheesecake selection is truly unique and each one we tried was perfect. We loved the option of a "skinny" low-calorie menu, which is a great idea for those looking for lighter fare. Be warned, the portions are huge (easily enough for two!), and the menu is extensive, so come hungry and ready to make some tough choices! The restaurant itself has a lovely ambiance with nice design and lighting. To top it off, the staff were friendly, fun, and attentive. Highly recommend!

Service was horrible and the food was horrible. Morgan was very sarcastic about the restaurant being out of items on the menu. The cleanliness was poor! Do not eat here, this is very subpar for a cheesecake factory.

Not sure what happened to the one in Charlotte. Table dirty when we sat down…Most of the plates they served us were dirty… and the gritty caked on old food kind of dirty. The Tex mex egg rolls were a hot mess (phot attached) and not like they used to be… the white bean chili not even warm… and funny enough, even those who worked there know it was bad.
Maybe try another location, but not this one.
(Oh and none of their soap dispensers worked in the women’s bathroom!)
We’re all hoping we don’t get sick…

Food took 45 minutes
Asked me how I wanted my burger, medium please, showed up well done and crispy (murdered)
Sent it back and left
If you're gonna charge 20 bucks for a burger and fries...it better at least be good, if not excellent

I will never....
So my daughter, who has never been bc I refused, wanted to try for her 20th birthday... apps took forever only to come out cold and greasy. She was starting to see why I never brought them. My side of broccoli came out looking like a WHOLE stump and tree 🌳 at that moment, I saw tears form in her beautiful eyes at that moment she looked at me and said, "Can we please just go? I got the check and told them not to prepare the remaining food that were just going to leave bc this is more than unsatisfied night. She cried we left, and none of us will e er return. It's extremely disappointing to have a birthday turn out this way. Unfortunately, she had to see why I had never taken her to cheese cake faketory. Chain restaurants have no concern about quality, food, service or preparation they just want you in pay and out.
The one and only time I ate here previously was a friend took me and I was jyst as disappointed and grossed put then.... I changed my review from that vist to their visit... my last one wasn't too much better. I enjoy my health over fast microwave foods that come frozen and defrosted straight to the table... luke warm or cold. Just no

Honestly I just came here for the cheesecake but what we ordered was good. The brussel were bland even with the bacon in it. My jambalaya was good but I requested extra sauce because it was a little dry. My husband enjoyed his gumbo with no complaints. Overall I give it a 8 out of 10.

We hadn’t been in a while, so we decided to treat ourselves to a change of pace—and it was absolutely worth it! Our meal started with their signature delicious bread and plenty of butter, paired with water (with 3 fresh lemon slices) and a perfectly crafted Tanqueray and tonic.
For our mains, my wife enjoyed the lunch soup and salad special, which included a creamy chicken and potato soup that was bursting with flavor, paired with a fresh salad topped with ample tomatoes and a zesty vinaigrette dressing. I opted for the fettuccine with added mushrooms, and it was equally delightful. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying.
To finish, we indulged in the Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake, which was decadently rich and divine—an absolute must-try! Paired with a latte and caramel macchiato (both enhanced with a shot of Kahlua), the dessert rounded out a fantastic meal.
Our server, Jamie B., was wonderful—attentive, efficient, and incredibly kind. She made our experience even more enjoyable. The meal provided the perfect diversion from the holiday hustle and bustle at the mall.
Five stars for an impeccable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Went here a few years back for my birthday. Was so good night try to go again this year
I order Shrimp Alfredo. Really awful tasted as if someone dumped a box of salt in it. The portion was extremely small. The bread was hard. I paid 32.00 for this take out. This was the Charlotte location. Just very disappointed.

A little overrated for all the hype. Cheeseburger was good, fries were chewy, bad oil taste to them. I had a turtle cheesecake and it was still frozen. Waited 15 minutes after finishing our food to pay and leave.
