When I say this is the nastiest food I have had in a minute.. pork chops no seasoning at all..nasty ..cabbage ..nasty ..rice and gravy nasty ..the macaroni and cheese is devils work ..nasty as hell ..I will never in my life eat from this establishment again..oh I forgot pintos extra nasty…whoever the cook is fire him/her today.. 32.00 in the trash..whoever is saying the food here is good is a damn lie

I’m from buffalo ny and where I’m from are food is seasoned and good comfort food. This place sucks. Everyone’s nasty. Box macaroni, cabbage no seasoning, pork cop with gravy old as hell. Very disappointed. If they need I cook I will show how you perfect good food… And sad part is it smelled good but not good at all.

It was an absolute delight to visit the Chicken Box Cafe and I will return when I fly CLT! Wide variety of menu items and plate options for any size appetite. This was some of the better fried chicken I have eaten anyplace, anytime. I look forward to trying the pork chops next time around. Collard Greens, Mac & Cheese, Fried Okra with cornbread for the sides. Numerous side options available that looked great. Being a basketball lover, it was cool to learn a little about Buckey too. I sincerely appreciate the hospitality!
