Resident Culture Brewing Company

Disappointing management and firing of staff in a situation that did not represent the vibes of respect and acceptance RC puts forward. As a community partner who has hosted events in their space and collaborated on several initiatives, I’m disappointed and will not be engaging with work with RC in the future.

Relative raved about this beer for ages. Included one in a recent gift. I was doubtful but it really does work. I'm more of a dark beer (stouts/porters). Wasn't expecting much but was quite surprised that the lime works. I should have known better with the way my relative raved.

Full disclosure: I've never squeezed a lime in a beer EVER!

Great place for beers parking lot is tight but it's a great place to chill meet new people and make new friends!

Unfortunately not really the best experience. It seem nice walking in as being very lgbt friendly, however there experience with poor management. They will charge your account. On the menus they don’t give you a cost of drinks and they will magically charge you for tips and they want you to add more on the tip after they force the tipping. I recently heard that the management fire an employee giving amazing customer experience. There is some good employee who care about customer service and help your experience but the manager/owner whomever they don’t care much about it as long they making money without customer knowledge. They state they are lgbt friendly and help community but all suddenly they become politics they it become a stage show. Honestly I don’t come for political stuff but rather good customer service and fine drink. I want to be at peace and I don’t want be concerned that the company will encore cost without customer knowledge and manipulation of giving extra money. Poor experience. Please advice check your prices and make sure how many drinks you order and make sure the number add up.

This was my favorite brewery in Charlotte, but siding with terminally online right-wing extremists over your own employees is despicable & gonna be a hard no from me. For a business who prides themself on & has built a brand around their progressive ideals, this feels like a gross betrayal. I'm glad that they showed their true colors so that I can make damn sure to never give them another dime.

They don’t respect their employees’ First Amendment rights. Plus their beer is pedestrian and boring. Way better spots in CLT.

For one, they could condemn doxxing and keep their employees safe. I used to go here pretty regularly, especially becuase of their progressive vibes. I will not longer use them for events or recommend this brewery, they're disloyal and dishonest.

Booo. I can no longer support Resident Culture because they can't support their own staff over random internet trolls. Will not be back. Resident Culture would have been better off avoiding the culture wars.

Used to be a respectable, progressive, establishment but they caved quickly to people NOT EVEN FROM CHARLOTTE who doxxed a Resident Culture employee. No longer a safe space. Don’t give them your money.

Morally bankrupt and disloyal to employees. Will never be back. It might as well just be another condo.

Best brewery in Charlotte, hands down

Marissa made the place amazing. We enjoyed her vibe and she was so attentive to everyone. There was even a customer that wanted a specific drink and though she didn't have what they wanted she knew where to point them. Make It Rainbow 🌈 IPA was so good we got a 4 pack to-go.
