This restaurant is one of my absolute favorites! The atmosphere is always cozy and stylish, the meat is cooked to perfection, and the whole team makes you feel truly cared for. Our waitress, Cenya, is amazing attentive, friendly, and very professional. The manager Cally, also deserves a big shout-out: he's always polite, detail-oriented, and makes sure every guest has the best experience. This isn't my first visit with Cenya as my server and Cally as manager, and every time just makes me want to come back again. Great service, delicious food, and a special atmosphere highly recommend!

Seriously, you've gotta try Chima. It was one of those meals where you don't want it to end. By the end of the night I just wanted to start all over again. The meat just keeps coming, I'm talking about really tasteful meet, juicy. The Beef Ribs (Costela) is my favorite and I definitely recommend that. Theirs buffet has so much variety, it's a food paradise. They have people coming at your table all the time, with not only meet but grilled pineapple, cheese bread (you really should try those with the dipping sauce, just by writing it here I'm already hungry again, oh man. The FOH manager, Cally was even better than the food, he made us feel like VIPs, checking in just enough to make sure everything was perfect without hovering; and I really appreciate him for that. So... the vibe, the food, the flow of the night; it all got even better because of that. Definitely a night to remember.

The first time I went was two years ago for my birthday, and I loved it, so my expectations were for this go-around. I was highly disappointed and expected more than what was given. When we were first seated, it took a while for a server to get to us, and then when the different meats came to our table, they took a long time too. We kept asking for the seafood for the people in my group who didn't want the whole thing. We were there for almost two hours, and the salmon only came around 3 times. The food wasn't bad and was decent at most. They did cater to my pregnant friend who needed her food well done, which was nice. When we paid for our food, our waiter lost someone's card in my group. We didn't get it back before we left, and she was not offered her food for free even though the waiter lost her card. I understand people make mistakes, but I expected more from management. My overall experience was bad, and I wasted my money.

Wonderful experience! Our server, Stephanie, was attentive and had a welcoming personality! A highlight was actually the grilled halumi cheese, which was not available the last time we went. I'd recommended trying it with honey and then again with the chimichurri. All the meats were delicious and the lobster tail special for $22 was not only a great deal but the lobster was fresh and delicious. Will return soon!

Every single morsel at Chima Steakhouse was a revelation. From the very first bite to the last sizzling skewer, I was absolutely enchanted. The rotation of hot meats gliding past our table was a parade of perfection each cut tender, flavorful, and cooked with mastery. And that grilled pineapple? Transcendent. Sweet, smoky, and melt-in-your-mouth—it’s practically a dessert and a side dish had a baby sent from heaven.
The service? Impeccable. My glass was never empty, and the staff was so attentive without ever hovering. They anticipated our needs like pros, with a warmth that made the whole evening feel personal.
As for the atmosphere it’s elegant, absolutely, but there’s this undercurrent of controlled chaos. The buzz of conversation, the hum of skewers slicing through air, the thrill of choosing your next bite it all adds up to a dining experience that feels alive and elevated.
I can’t wait to go back. Five stars aren’t enough for what Chima delivers.

There is a large very creative and diverse salad bar, the drinks are some of the best I've had and full skewers of meat are brought to your table where you can pick and choose from among beef, seafood, chicken and lamb as we as a very nice sausage. The desserts are too notch as is the friendly wait staff. We ate our fill for around 130 dollars for two people, but it's well worth it. If you have a special occasion or just feel like really treating yourself, then I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant in downtown Charlotte.
