The dining experience is exciting and different, which is great. However, I wouldn't come back. The sides at the salad bar were great. The meat was over cooked in my opinion (medium rare usually isn't that tough, especially for certain cuts of meat) but I understand that the cooking method tends to do that. My main gripes was the atmosphere. I felt like I was in a dark school cafeteria 😅. There's always people moving- guests and servers. Servers make sense, but guests? I found it odd. Having to get up and run to the salad bar mid meal felt odd. I felt like I just paid an exuberant amount for a buffet. I should have expected that, but it caught me off guard lol. Great service, decent food, but I would not return if I wanted an intimate dinning experience. Not a date night atmosphere at all.

Wonderful experience! The severs are great; very polite, and they don’t rush you when they come around with the different meats. And our waitress was phenomenal! Will be requesting to sit is Steph W.’s section again!

Chima's Brazilian sweet place . I remember being in a video with The Charlotte Chekers the Hokey team with the amazing Tony Raul Alfaro. He has the best social night on Thursday for young people professionals in Charlotte is the best!! You get to promote your business and connect with people in a happy elegant atmosphere . Thank you Chimas! The event is free on Thursdays night fun!!❤️❤️

Fantastic experience at Chima Steakhouse thanks to Evan! He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything at our table was perfect throughout the meal. His great service and positive attitude really made the night even more enjoyable. Highly recommend asking for Evan if you dine here!

We were a family of 5, 4 getting the select experience which excludes certain menu items (right at $48 per person) and we had a child menu price. We asked our server in the beginning about getting the military discount. Was told we could get it and even showed ID. At the end he said his manager said the select experience was already discounted and we could not receive the military discount. The select experience is one of their normal menu prices due to you don’t get salmon, shrimp and other items. On the menu it doesn’t state military discounts are excluded. For this reason we will take business elsewhere.
On a side note, the server was fantastic. Sad management has to be so greedy and not honor veterans.

Please keep the potatoes au gratin, filet mignon, and the grilled pineapple indefinitely! Please find a way to redirect the airflow from the AC upstairs it was freezing! Some hanging draft curtains would have made our dining experience perfection. But you still get my 5 stars!

There was a time when Chima Steakhouse in Uptown Charlotte was a premier destination for a celebratory dinner. The ambiance felt exclusive, the rodizio experience was exciting, and the hospitality was top-notch. Unfortunately, times have changed. What was once a reliable spot for an indulgent evening has steadily declined over the years, leaving diners with a steep bill for a decidedly subpar experience.

We had an incredible experience at Chima Steakhouse. We celebrated our son's 2nd birthday here. The food was incredible and delicious. Andre, our server was amazing! He went all beyond, brought the cake out at perfect timing. It's like he read my mind! Definitely coming back.
