This is the first spot to have food that tastes like home to me. The flavors taste fresh and not overpowering. I returned a few days/ week later to enjoy more. I do wish they took cards bc it's cash only. There is an atm nearby- our food came within the said time. The shrimp lo mein, teriyaki chicken on a stick and shrimp egg foo young are perfection. Shrimp rolls just as delicious. I didn't care for the white rice or brown sauce for the egg foo young- it has a word...

I'd give it 5 stars if they took cards. You have to order through DoorDash (which is slightly more expensive) to bypass that cash only option they have.

Being from STL, no one has fried rice like that place, but speaking of Chinese food overall, this is the only place I'll eat at in Charlotte. I've been to so many Chinese food places here too. Only took 1.5 years for me to discover this hidden gem.

I’ve eaten here in the past, as a kind of secondary place to my favorite place that’s closed now due to the owners retiring. I enjoyed the food, and the snippy stern man up front was funny to listen to on the phone. He didn’t come to play. The atmosphere is not, and doesn’t have to be glamorous or pretentious, the service was prompt, and my food was ready.
