Placed an order for 5. Picked up, got home only to realize a whole order was missing. Drove back 15 minutes, rude impolite lady working 1/22 at 7pm, did not apologize! Made the burrito and threw it to us. No bag. We had to request her for a bag. Terrible attitude in food service. A mere apology would have sufficed. Not going to this location again. If you do, check your order.

i know i’m a little late to leave this review, but hear me out. i came here around nine months ago and ordered a bowl with chips. the next morning, i threw up three times, which then escalated into a total of nine times over the span of two days. doctors later confirmed it was food poisoning. the only thing i had eaten the day before was chipotle, since it was a busy day and i grabbed something quick from a place i usually loved.
i couldn’t go to class or work for over a week due to the recovery. i’m leaving this review nine months later because every time i pass a chipotle, i have to fight the very real urge to gag. i’m mostly irritated that i haven’t gotten chipotle ever since due to fear and disgust.

Food was weird, tasted off. This location is slow and dirty. There is always cold food smeared all over where they assemble the burritos and they drop food from the different containers into the other containers. Generally pretty slow - but the worst was how off the food taste today. It was very gross.

Ignore anyone else. This is the best Chipotle I've been to in charlotte. They give you a really good portion size for online orders. It's exactly what I request on my order. And it's done at the time I request. I do personally say don't choose the quickest option if you want the food to be ready when you get there. Because it's just not going to be ready within 10 minutes. You're going to want to choose the 20 minutes away option which usually the second option from when you're placing. You'll have no issue..
My only complaint is it's way too crowded which is not their fault. But there's a reason why so many people come here and it's one of the most packed Chipotle's I go to.
I go to various Chipotle's across Charlotte I get the exact same order at every single Chipotle I go to. And they're the only ones to make it perfectly have it tastes perfectly and give a decent portion size for how much you're paying.

I would avoid this Chipotle for the last hour or two before they close as they often run out of meats and what is left has been sitting out for hours.

I visited this shop at 8:30 PM on December 3rd and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. My small child was confused between ordering a quesadilla or a burrito, and while I was helping them decide, the lady serving the food looked extremely rude and impatient.
After we finally ordered the quesadilla, she threw it into the oven carelessly and kept blabbering something under her breath. When I came to the counter, she hadn’t even taken the quesadilla out in time, and it was completely overcooked and in bad condition.
As customers, we expect basic courtesy and patience from the staff, especially when serving families with kids. With this kind of behavior, it’s hard to feel satisfied with the service or the food.
I truly hope the management takes action or at least provides proper training or a warning so that customers are treated respectfully in the future.

I’m concerned about the cleanliness of the restaurant. The dining area seems like it might not be getting the attention it needs—out of about 55 seats, only 3 appeared clean at 5:45 PM on a Monday, just BEFORE the evening rush. It doesn’t appear management checks in on it or requires the staff to as this is a regular occurrence, which has been going on over a year. I’d suggest opting for takeout if you’re planning to eat here. It just worries me that if the front is this unkept, the kitchen might need some extra care too.

I come in with my friend and her son to this chipotle about 3 times a week. This is a busy spot with generally friendly staff. We go out of our way to come here because of the staff. Then there is JAHIR. Twice in the past 4 months Jahir has gone out of his way to be rude to my friend. As I went through the line Jahir topped asked me if I needed extra cheese. No charge of course. My friend stepped up ordered their meal and asked for extra cilantro. He was told her the cilantro is already mixed in. So I stepped back noting that there was a guy chopping the cilantro behind him so it couldn’t be mixed in. He said well no she can’t have it. This is new. She has gets extra cilantro here each time. So I asked another employee on the line. Who said well he’s the manager. So I quietly asked his name. The other guy was in told me. As I was checking out my friend asked me for his name. Jahir snapped at her and said do you want me to write it down. Surprised she said ok. He rudely came over smirking and hand her a paper. This set me off. I looked around the restaurant. It was filthy. It wasn’t busy. I let her sit with her son to eat. I walked over to the other manager Todd. Todd took the time to explain the cilantro process. Cool. Todd then stepped up to the line and began to help. Meanwhile Jahir stayed up on the line doing nothing. I watched as Todd cleaned, worked, washed his hands, greated a new employee and began training. Jahir stayed on the line doing NOTHING. I took some photos and posted them below. Guess who Jahir is. Hint he is doing NOTHING. There was no need for him to be on the line. He could have been cleaning. He never asked her is she was eating in. He didn’t mark her food. I watched her unwrap their burritos because they were unmarked. I am hoping Jahir is not being rude to her because they are black. I would love to hear from a GM on this.

Not one to usually do this but at this point you have to. Ordered online pick up. It says 7:40 time and I give an additional 5 min. Then the app says it’s ready but it’s not on the pick up shelf. After waiting 10 more minutes and watching others get their food I ask for mine and it’s not even made or being worked on. Then I get home and open up the tacos to find they are missing ingredients and are just thrown in there. I’ve worked in the food service industry and this is a low point. If I wasn’t home already after waiting 25 min I would walk back in and just drop this in the trash it’s that disappointing.

Ordered 4 bowls and 1 burrito for take-out. 4 out of 5 orders were incorrect. $65 total.
Update:
One of my children had a steak burrito bowl (steak, white rice, black beans, sour cream, and cheese) and 8 hours later in the middle of the night was on the toilet with some serious diarrhea. It may or may not have been related to this burrito bowl.
Original post:
Before I left the restaurant, I checked the labels on each of the items. 4 were correct, but one of the bowls (for one child) had a label “DoorDash meal.” I went back to the take-out area to ask that it be remade for the missing bowl. I watched him make it and the new one was correct.
When I got home, another child opened their bowl, which while correctly labeled on the outside, was completely not what was ordered (wrong meat, no cheese or salsa, added guac).
I went back to the restaurant (10 mins away) and asked for the manager. I explained what happened and showed him the erroneous bowl; he immediately made me a new bowl. I also expressed frustration that I had to come back for this correction (20 mins roundtrip) while my own bowl was at home getting cold. There was no acknowledgement from the manager whatsoever of the hassle of getting this bowl corrected. No refund offered, no future promo code, not even an apology. Nothing. He said I should take the incorrect bowl home with me.
When I got home to my now-cold bowl, I found it had fajita veggies (which I did not order) and the carne asada was large and chunky, not tender at all, and one large piece was actually 50% gristle. I also learned that my wife’s burrito was incorrect; the carne asada burrito contained zero carne. How any of us could have checked the burrito’s contents before eating is beyond me.
There is a notice above the take-out prep station to “double check every order” (in all caps). It might be designed for the customers, who should open their take-out meals to double check before leaving the restaurant.
This is an unfortunate experience because I’m sure the person making the take-out orders was trying hard to do his job. He may have been overwhelmed with a dinner rush. But management should help with additional staffing, either to help with the order volume or to do actual quality control, or both.
