Jersey chiming in, I enjoy my hot off the grill Cheesesteak today at “Chucks Cheesesteak.” I won’t say it’s the best in CLT but it’s relatively good. It’s definitely a good steak sandwich on your day off. Yes, you need to walk this off until you release. The Food Truck scared me a bit, but I watched him while he prepared the food and he has a Grade A placard. It’s definitely not rushed so, get your car washed while your steak is freshly made.

The best value and tasting cheesesteak I’ve had in Charlotte.
Cheats is right up there with this one in terms of taste (I haven’t had their new recipe yet) but Chucks gives you so much more steak for the dollar.
With regular cheese this place is $15 as of writing, $18 if you get it with cooper’s sharp, which I recommend.
I was hesitant to go at first as I heard it was cash only, and I didn’t want to find an ATM first, but he took cashapp as well so no problem there.
Definitely will be a regular here.

So first of all beware the all the way has mayonnaise, now I know all you southerners love your mayo but in the real world there is no place for mayo on a steak and cheese. It is made to order and was hot and cheesey so I was very excited. However he puts a spice on the sandwich that I could not identify. It was hard for me because it tasted different then I expected but I kept eating. I feel it would have been a perfect cheese steak except for that spice. I challenge you to try it and tell me what it is? But I definitely think it's worth a try just not my cup of tea!

Props to this food truck! This is the best cheesesteak in Charlotte hands down. The only other really good cheesesteak I've had is back home in Durham NC. Chuck's are right up there with them.Today was my first time getting food there but I will be going back and I will be bringing my wife and referring to everybody I know. Yall keep up the good work!
