I came across this breakfast restaurant while searching for a place that serves delicious, home-style breakfast. I am delighted that I decided to dine at this establishment; the food is reminiscent of my great grandmother's cooking. The restaurant is quite crowded, but the staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend visiting this establishment for a delightful breakfast experience. Although it may not be the most luxurious or well-known place, the quality of the food is truly remarkable.

Chuck’s holds a cherished spot in our hearts, nestled in a vintage diner setting where the owners still personally prepare meals, continuing a longstanding family tradition. It’s a place where you’ll often bump into neighbors sharing breakfast. While some aspects have evolved, like ordering at the counter instead of being served, and the introduction of plastic plates, cups, and silverware, the essence remains unchanged. Serving up Southern soul food with flavors that are subtly seasoned and delightfully light on grease, dining at Chuck’s offers a nostalgic yet refreshing experience. I extend a warm invitation to partake in the time-honored traditions of Charlotte at this beloved establishment.

It's a great hole in the wall located in Charlotte, NC. I was working nearly and was looking for local places to check out. Google recommended this business, and it had great reviews . Upon entry, the staff was very polite and took our order as we got in. You order that the counter and then find a seat. I ordered the French toast with scramble eggs and bacon and pink lemonade. There were a lot of local people sitting having lunch, and the area was quiet. The wall art was amazing and made you see charlotte from a different perspective Food took about 10 to 15 minutes to be ready. I was so excited to try their French toast however it's was a disappointment. It was burnt and bitter and had no flavor to it. I ended up asking for a side of toast and used it to make an egg and bacon sandwich, which was pretty good. Even though I was disappointed with my French toast , my coworkers seemed to enjoy their meals. I tried their steak and cheese sub, and it was delicious If you are ever looking for a hole in the wall, check this place out and try something other than the French toast. 630 could be sneakers. That's a good deal get a beer. I guess we can stay around the area or there's one K and 5K works for the brewer is an associate and will run getting free beer and burning the color you came from speaking of smoke this is warm, leave it put it on it marshmallows this thing

I come here every morning before work and I'm never disappointed. The food is amazing and the prices are good! My favorite is the smoked sausage egg and cheese on toast and French toast.

This place is great! Having grown up in a small rural town, the family restaurants had the best food. Same goes for Chucks, great food and a GREAT price. This place is almost always hopping with the people of the nearby businesses and local families, but seems to have room every time we drop in.Come give it a try, the egg breakfast is $5.50 (take that WH)!Vegetarian options: Grilled veggies, toast, hash browns, and great tomato sandwichesDietary restrictions: They will cook anything to order and have vegetarian dishes available.Parking: A huge lot for cars, a side street, and the dollar tree across the street all have parking spaces available.Kid-friendliness: Great, easy going, family atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: Wide doors, low tables, and friendly staff.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!!With all the gentrification going on in Charlotte, it’s becoming more difficult to find these kinds of spots with good authentic food made to order + a homey atmosphere.I love Chucks, literally never had a bad experience here.

Food was fresh and cooked to order. Everything tasted great. Normally, with May, I wouldn't stop at a place that looked rough and run down. That would have been a mistake! Parking lot was full, so I figured the food was good. It really was! And I spent less for the two of us than I usually pay for just for me! Note: Coffee was excellent!
