We ordered from Uber and the food arrived very hot. We enjoyed the pork bahn mi and buns but the pho was lacking something. I come from a very spoiled college experience where my roommate/best friend was Vietnamese. Her mom’s cooking was always on point so I may be biased in what I consider really good Pho. It just lacked flavor to me and was sweeter than I’m used to.
This was my first time at Cilantro Noodle and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is very calm and clean! The staff is super nice and willing to help and answer any questions about the menu. I built my own bowl and it was very flavorful and fresh. I will definitely be back soon!
BUN BO HUE (Spicy Beef Noodle) is what I had for lunch. What is that........I'll tell you. Thick noodles with sliced beef shank, eye round steak and pork meatloaf (think of fried spam), all swimming in a sea of spicy beef broth. Well, it's not spicy.....at all. First time trying #Pho. It was a flavorful mixture of goodness. I still have no clue what that clear gelatin item was in my Pho. ??♀️
