I went before 9pm and it was pretty empty and not much going on but the scenery and the environment was nice.

First and last time visiting this place Daniella was absolutely not warm nor welcoming. Service means everything to me. I believe in treating everyone with respect. She was very cold . Not to mention I said thank you upon receiving my drink barely a your welcome, and then when I ask for my receipt she put it in the counter instead of handing it to me. I choose to leave my money and tips I give people are too good for less than acceptable service. Do better. I’m a guest in this hotel!

I recently visited City Lights Rooftop, and honestly, it didn’t live up to the hype. If you're looking for a laid-back, divey spot to grab a beer, it might check the box, but the experience left a lot to be desired.
First off, the atmosphere is definitely more dive bar than swanky rooftop lounge, which can be cool if you’re into that. But the music was a major turn-off. It was awful, honestly—like the DJ wasn’t even trying. I asked him to change it up, but nothing changed. The whole vibe just didn’t mesh well with the setting.
I stuck to beers, and they were fine—nothing special but decent enough for a casual night out. The service was pretty average, nothing to rave about. We didn’t get great attention, and the staff seemed a bit distracted.
To top it off, there was some seriously inappropriate behavior going on at the bar. I was shocked to see a couple openly engaging in sexual activity right in front of everyone. It was uncomfortable, and honestly, kind of disgusting. I can’t understand how that was allowed to happen in a public space, and it definitely ruined the experience for me.
Would I recommend it? Probably not. There are better spots in the city with a similar vibe and better overall experiences. City Lights Rooftop has potential, but until they address the music, the service, and the overall vibe, it’s hard to say it’s worth the visit.

Got there when it was supposed to open for drinks before our dinner reservations. Paid for 30 minutes to park without anyone opening the rooftop and just left.

It was a quiet Saturday evening on the rooftop. Everyone visibly was there to relax. My drink was good and the view nice. My only critique is that the machine systems on the rooftop, maybe the ac or heating, was a little loud and constricts the mood. They cover it with a greenery surrounding to block it from view. The location is also a little further from uptown. Overall, still nice to check out.

Love this view! Food options could be better but just my opinion. The drinks were tasty and not watered down. The bar is called Cloud Bar, FYI. Enjoy yourselves.

Had a great time, amazing view of the skyline. Went on a thursday to watch the sunset, was not too busy. Drinks were pricey but expected.

This was my first time coming here. The views of the city were great and I liked the deck/patio outside. The only downers of this place and holding it back from a higher review was that the bartending service really was not great. The bar area wasn’t that busy, yet I was still struggling to get the attention of the bartenders. There was no menu to look at for pricing or just to see what was an option to order for drinks. Pricing seemed a little high for what they were giving as well. On top of it all there was a funky smell that smelled like the back dish area of a restaurant kitchen.

Decent rooftop bar, just not easy to get there. You have to go to the top floor, and then climb another set of stairs, it's like a maze to find this place.

The espresso martini appeared to be a premade mix which for $18 is wild. The DJ was not lit. The view is nice but was not feeling the quiet/boring vibe of the place. Place could be much more enjoyable if they played better music.

View is great! Drinks on the high side $30 for ultra and Woodford on the rocks. Atmosphere lacking otherwise.

Best part was the view. Drink menu is very limited and way too expensive. $16 per drink. Food was the mid, worse than Applebees, and over priced as well. Spent $60 on one drink and 2 apps. One bartender said they were able to make mocktails but then the other bartender said they can’t. Social media hyped this place up too much.

Daniella was the best bartender! She made the best martinis and cosmo and we will definitely be back.
