Went for lunch a few days ago and got the brown stew chicken plate. Oh my gosh that was good. And for under $10. Wanted to go again today but wound up working in the Mooresville area. I will definitely be back as soon as I’m in the area again though. I’m a local city trucker so finding something tasty, healthy, and not too pricey is a hard feat. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for giving me some good food.

The staff was exceptionally friendly which was a good introduction to checking out the Jerk chicken lunch special. The thought of plantain was enticing as well.
After well deserved prayer, I will say that the taste of everything was on point. My only concern was the chicken wasn't fully cooked! Nooooo bueno!

Glad I gave this place a chance prior to reading the reviews. As I was waiting for my food I decided to read the reviews and really was questioning why I didn't read the reviews first.Anyways. Ordered oxtail and jerk chicken.Both were good. The rice was hard like someone else commented but it was good with the oxtail gravy. Didnt care too much for the cabbage but it wasnt horrible. The fresh pineapple ginger juice was really good too!Id come back.
