It was our first time there. The bartender was a nice guy. Running the bar and taking orders at the tables, he needs a raise. I asked for no salt on my burger and fries because I have high blood pressure and he made sure I got just that. My man and I both had the Comet Classic with fries. Hand patted meat and hand cut fries. Tell the cook he did an awesome job at making sure my meat was fully cooked yet not burnt. If we weren't leaving Charlotte tomorrow, we would come back...
Best place in Charlotte for food, music, and atmosphere. Cora, the owner, works so hard to ensure her customers have a great time. Love comet forever!!!!!!!!!! And Sunday nights with Omari and the hellhounds!
In all honesty, we had ventured to another restaurant which didn’t sit well with fellow venture seekers (stand or sit in sun) so we pulled out the phones to seek food. Comet appeared and we are SO glad we found. Best chicken sandwich outstanding. Burger actually had flavor along with the other toppings. Fries - fabulous. Great food. Cool looking place. Definitely will go back when in town again….thank you.
