I don't usually go inside at Cookout. The drive-thru moves quickly and the food is always good and fresh. That's been the same at any location I've visited.

I was very disappointed with my visit to Cook Out. My car is very low, so I couldn’t make it through the drive-through. I walked up to the window to place my order and was told it was “drive-through only,” which is confusing because most of the time they don’t enforce that and have served me before.
What made the situation worse was the way it was handled. One of the employees yelled out that I didn’t even have a car and started making disrespectful comments. The tone and behavior were completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I was just trying to get food, not be embarrassed or talked down to.
Customer service should be respectful, even when there are rules to follow. This experience really left a bad impression and made me not want to return to this location.

My only complaint is that there isn't, at a minimum, outdoor seating for guests. I'm not a fan of eating in a car.

On top of that when I went to bite into my burger there was a piece of plastic that I had to pull out of my mouth. ————————— Also the African American guy with the small dreads that’s always taking orders and acts like he can’t hear doesn’t need to be at the window. He always has an attitude and doesn’t give straws, forks, or napkins, and acts like he’s being bothered when you ask for condiments.

Worst place I have ever been to. Went to the walk up window and stood there for nearly 15 mins before we decided to try the drive thru. Once we got up to the place to order we placed our order. Pulled up to the window. They took our card. Swiped the card and handed it back. We waited another 25 mins at the window. We ordered 2 burgers and 2 hotdogs, so not an excessive amount of food. Once the food made it to the window the cashier told us we paid for someone else's order. But still had to pay for ours. We received a refund for the other persons order that we were charged for received our food and took it home. I ate my burger and hot dog. Got sick shortly after. I threw up 3 times that night. STAY AWAY
What a gem. Fast food, great milk shakes and priced so much less than other fast food joints.

I keep saying I give up and will not return but I keep giving them another chance to mess up my order. I order an out west style burger tray no cheese. Below is what I got. I kept wondering why it tasted different. When you call, no one ever answers because they know you called to complain. Customer service is always a 5 star. It’s just the cooks in the kitchen. I am done. No more chances.

I ordered a small burger tray with double onion rings and a banana pudding milk shake. The milk shake had a roach in it. I've been trying to reach a manager to no avail. That was a pretty traumatic experience‼️
