First off, the food from this Cook Out is good. We’ve eaten from this place a few times and had a relatively good experience with helpful staff and kind. This go-round, whoever they had working the drive-thru and kitchen was on something or maybe they weren’t (like their meds). How do you get told an order five plus times and then stop taking the order mid order with a looong pause, then ask can you take the order like you just started? Then when we get to the window to pay...
Saved my night! Our apartment complex (The Park at Ferentino) has had no running water for an extended period of time over this weekend. The staff was incredibly accommodating, allowing me to use the restroom, and the food was fresh and served quickly.
Living overseas, when we fly into Charlotte, Cookout is our first stop. And this location did not disappoint! Extremely clean, the food was fresh and hot, but the best part of the visit was Jaylen! One of the friendliest restaurant workers I have ever interacted with! Thanks so much for making our return to the USA start off on a high note!
