Tried this bakery for the first time today with my Mom. The staff is unbelievably kind and Yalexis (apologies if I butchered the spelling of her name) definitely stood out as an absolute leader. She went above and beyond to make our visit warm and hospitable. The quiche was fresh tasting and had great flavor and the chocolate croissant and cappuccino were delicious. It would be great if management could implement bringing sugar cubes (or just sugar) to the table for dine-in coffee orders rather than having to get up and grab some from the to-go bar - a very small detail but a suggestion nonetheless! Seating is tight but cozy and love that they play French music and stock a variety of market items from soaps to dried pasta and sauces.

What an atmosphere ? they have authentic French musique & it’s very clean. The food is delicious - I’ve never been to a bakery that I thought had quality food in CLT and this is the first! The pastries are flavorful and have the correct amount of moisture so that they’re not dry. The coffee especially is perfect - it doesn’t need any sugar since it isn’t bitter. They also have frozen foods you can take home to bake!

My family has visited Copain twice and we have loved everything we have gotten so far. The bread is absolutely amazing, as are the pastries. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. We don’t live close by, but make the trip to Copain as often as possible because their products and service are worth the drive.

This place is AWESOME!! I found out about it a few months ago and I am in love. Everything is always perfect! Staff is super friendly and attentive, it’s all girls from what I’ve seen which is so cute. They’ve been busy these past few times I have come in but never disappoint. Wonderful atmosphere. If you visit definitely have their caramel or vanilla iced latte and their delicious cookies.
