The AC Hotel is elegantly awesome but the rooftop bar was horrible. Four of us walked in around 9PM without anyone acknowledging us. There were four young people and a bartender at the bar when we sat down at a table inside the bar. After 4 minutes, I had to walk up to the bar to get us menus. After another 5 minutes looking at the poor selection, we got up to leave since not one person asked us for our order. Don’t waste your post-dinner drinks at this place…

Wow! What a disappointment! No love in their food. The Honey Citrus Manchego was nothing but just canned oranges with watered-down honey and a few pieces of cheese, and we couldn't find the pistachios. Some fresh bread to go with the dish would have probably made a little bit of a difference but they didn't offer it. The Tomato-Proscuitto toast were made with tomato paste. It was probably unreasonable for us to expect fresh crushed tomatoes. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience and would not recommend the place.

As soon as we exited the elevator & entered the Cordial, we were greeted by Susan behind the bar! The food was delicious, the drinks were tasty, the playlist was on point and the view & overall vibe was great! Looking forward to coming back.

My group was at Cordials Charlotte 6/27/24. I thought the Food/Bev Dir handles a rush of customers professionally & best he could w limited staff. He is a great asset to your staff. Cordials is lucky to have him….Thanks

Why in the world would a rooftop bar be open every day except Friday?! ??‍♂️

Coolie

They upcharged the drinks since we were not staying there. The initial price was $32 dollars for two drinks and I was charged $50 upon leaving.

Never coming back, save your money and the prices were not listed on the cocktails.

2 stars might be generous. Made the mistake of coming here for a birthday, and it was by far the least pleasant experience of an activity-filled day. Drinks were terrible and nothing like they should be made based on the classic recipe of that drink; it was a much worse version. The majority of the party had heartburn from the bitterness and excessive lemon juice in everything and we had to stop by a pharmacy to split a bottle of tums. Someone who is a "lightweight" said they have felt more buzz from a single bottle of Corona than they did from their $20 cocktail, it was almost virgin. Several of the drinks listed on the menu could not be made due to unavailability of ingredients. How? Why? One bartender is not enough for this place, especially one that needs to go back to bartender school.

Walked a mile to get a drink at the rooftop barn supposedly open til 22:30, but the hotel is all locked up. When I tried to open the door it made noise because it was locked. The woman at the desk just looked up at me and looked back down.Hmmm

I can't say anything about food, drinks were great. The only thing that I couldn't stand was the rap/hip hop music they were playing.

Great view from rooftop, bar tenders were very slow, poorly set up bar, they couldn't have cared less about serving customers.

The lovely views cannot compensate for the horrific customer service. On Friday, I took the elevator to the 8th floor, and the bartender screamed that they weren't open yet. (The elevator opens directly into to bar.) I returned after 5 PM, but the line was too long, and slow, to get a drink. On Saturday, I arrived after 5 PM -- and in the middle of a customer service training session. I was invited to seat myself. The training lasted for at least 10 more minutes. I was never offered a drink. I am a corporate trainer, so I was stunned by the fact that the trainer/manager continued his pep rally about good customer service while I was completely ignored. I used this experience as an example of "what not to do" when I spoke with my team of trainers on Monday. ?

Great views and beer selection! Be careful though.. one bartender and it can get busy.
