Very cute small business. I was at Philly Corner next door when I saw this cookie place nearby and got some cookies for dessert. I would definitely recommend having some seats out maybe or having the cashier out instead of waiting in the back, just because I almost didn't walk in since I thought it was closed. But the cookies were great and large! Thank you

There are many negative or borderline reviews here, and I am in agreement with those. I have been to Cosmic Cookie several times over the past few years and the quality of the food is poor. From cookies, to cakes, to pies, everything is just "okay", never good, never great. The pricing is not terrible, just ok.

I also echo the many concerns here about the owner's customer service. The shop appears to be owned and run by a single gentleman. He is never out front in the shop when you walk in, but generally comes out within a minute to see if you need anything. I do agree that he (sorry that I cannot remember your name, sir) rarely greets customers or says anything at all, and frequently is on his phone with Airpods or some similar wireless earbud device. Dialog between me and him has always been very minimal. He sometimes doesn't say hello, he frequently doesn't say thank you or goodbye, it's just kind of a ho-hum experience.

The ambiance of the shop is nice, I like the painting on the wall. However, I wouldn't recommend this place to others. It has only served as a quick in-and-out spot of convenience when I am getting a car wash or have other business in the area.

Bean pies are delicious! Reminds me of how my grandma used to make them! Best bean pie place in charlotte. Call beforehand to make sure things are in stock. Customer service was nice.

Been coming here for years (my waistline can confirm). Love the chocolate chip cookies but the almond cake is my favorite. It's moist, flavorful, and not TOO sweet.

I patronized this establishment today. I typically don't review on my first visit, because anyone can have an "off day". I was thrilled to check this place out, because I love chocolate chip cookies, it's a small/local business and it's a black owned business. I never expect anyone to worship the ground I walk on, however I do expect a certain level of kindness. Upon my entrance, there wasn't anyone in the from. I began to look in the case of different deserts. I noticed there weren't any cookies. A man emerged from the back. He said hello and I replied hello. He was kidding his head and saying, "uhum" as to answer a question that I doesn't ask. I then realized he's on the phone. He stood there waiting for me to make a decision. I told him it was my first time in. He just stared back at me. I then asked him, if he had cookies (because there weren't any on display). He replied yes. I asked him for one chocolate chip cookie. He repeated, "one chocolate chip cookie." I told him, yes. When he returned I confirmed that the desert I was looking at was a brownie. He confirmed it was. I asked him for one of those as well. He bagged my order up, rang it into the cash register. He continued on with his conversation as he handed me my bag. I still left a tip via my card because again, "anyone can have an off day. I opted to get my receipt via text. Before I could finish putting in my phone number, he disappeared in the back. Being an entrepreneur myself, I believe customer service is key. The cookie was soft but I've had better. The brownie will be good once I warm it up, add some ice cream and a Carmel drizzle. I need business owners to understand that people DON'T have to spend their money with you. I will not be back. I'm sure he won't lose money over that, but some of the other reviews are sounding similar.

Cake taste very nasty like old freezer food, does not taste home made at all, the service was horrible black man act like he didn’t want to even open his mouth literally just there to hand you the cake! No type of customer service I will NEVER go back 18$ for 4 cakes that were not good!

Came in yesterday and the man that helped us didn’t seem pleased at all! It’s a cookie place but we didn’t see not one cookie! I got 4 pieces of cake but my family hated the pound cake. It was simply not good at all. I asked did they provide a military discount and he looked at me like I was crazy.. not that I feel veterans are special in anyway but I will not be back because they don’t offer a military discount and also the cake was just bad!

My fiance has a tini bit older party and wanted to do a custom cheek cake with a specific graphic and cosmic delivered a great looking and tasting peanut butter cheesecake. Very happy with the cake! Thank you

Would leave 0 stars if I could. I went for a strawberry cake slice and it’s so hard and smelt sour. Like it was old. Tasted the icing and it was indeed old. Disgusted !
