As a promoter/organizer lve hosted & attended several events here at Crown Station finding it to be cool environment for our 90s hiphop events. The bar tenders are always on point & Billy the owner is one cool dude. They dont serve food but often times there's vendors on the premises with tasty meals. This review is solely based on a event I attended. Attended an Afro Beat event here. Venue is small with limited on site parking. There is free side street parking if you come early enough to snag one. The DJs and people were a VIBE. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. Service was SLOW. They only had 2 bartenders and tbh, that took up about 45min in itself just to get a drink. I feel like for an event, at least 3 bartenders would do the trick. The thought of having to wait that long at the bar jist to grab a drink, made me not want yo drink. I only got 2 and called it a night with drinks. Bartender wasn't too friendly. No wine and water is in a self serve jug which half the time it was empty and you jad to fight your way through the crowd just to get a cup of water. If they would have more bartenders, they would make more money but maybe next time. The venue was nice, very hot so we ended up outside just dancing. Not sure if I would come again for an event.

Best Tuesday Night Place in Charlotte! I came for a jam session and was treated to a number of musicians just having fun and making great music from drums, guitars, keyboard to trombone, trumpet and saxophone. The beer was cold and the people are all about good vibes. This is an amazing place to be.

My BNI group rents a space here to meet and the place is fantastic! Quinn is a great bartender and host. The beer is cold, the hard cider is my favorite and don’t pass on the coffee. Best in Charlotte

HUGE fan of the funk jams on tuesday nights. incredibly grateful for a space that allows things like that to take place in charlotte.

Service was great but they automatically add 18% gratuity to your bill without disclosing. No signs or anything stating so. I left a hefty tip over 20% then later found out they automatically add 18%. When you get your copy that you sign, it doesn't disclose that information either. It has the total and a tip line and total line with signature line at bottom. I felt scammed...

It's a nice spot. I'd love if the invested a bit into enhancing their sound system. The potential as a live performance venue is staggering.

Did a show here and this place was really nice. The bartender don’t miss! The crowd was electric and the music was amazing. Definitely will perform here again!!!!
