The service was incredibly slow, both for food and drinks. Our table of seven waited ages for our meals, and they didn't even put in the order for three of our guests. It took nearly half an hour after the first dish arrived for the rest of the table to get their food. My meal was cold by the time everyone else was served because I'd politely waited to eat. When the final dish (a simple salmon salad) finally came out, the salmon was undercooked and half inedible, clearly rushed to make up for the delay. The incredibly slow and bad service was surprising given that the restaurant seemed adequately staffed. It was honestly stunning how disorganized the service was. The manager came by with a half-hearted apology, but all they did was remove the one inedible dish from the bill. It's disappointing because I really wanted to like this place, but this was easily my worst dining experience of the year. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

Our first time but really enjoyed it. We ate outside as the weather was nearly perfect. The food and service was great as well. We will most likely be back in the near future.

Waited almost 30 minutes for a drink after asking 4 different times. Waited 45 minutes for food

We had such a fantastic time. We had a great view of the city. Everyone was so upbeat and kind. We even had a little issue with our food and they were so gracious about it. We will definitely be going back. There were so many other things on the menu I wanted to try and the drinks were fabulous.

First time trying this place and everything about it was great! Service was good, food was flavorful and atmosphere chill. Will be back again when in Charlotte.

I took my sister there for a birthday dinner. The food was very bland. We didn't finish and we didn't pack it to go. There was live music playing and that was fine, but it was so loud we could not have a conversation at our table without yelling. The server told me what I ordered was a new menu item added that day, but that didn't excuse the overall experience. I may return to try the bar or have lunch, but dinner service there needs help. In closing, someone in my dinner party asked for the drink substitution, they came back with the drink without a straw. When I asked for a straw he came back with an unwrapped straw in his naked hand. Of course we didn't use it. That's when we decided to leave.

Great experience! We split a wide range of apps and had some drinks. All were delicious and came out promptly. Our server DJ was amazing too! Very friendly staff!

Business lunch today. Three different salads and water. Each salad great. A bit noisy though.

My husband and I had Sunday brunch at Culinary Dropout. The atmosphere is beautiful and the food was delicious. We ordered the classic breakfast and the breakfast pizza, which was a creative surprise. Our server Destiny was excellent. She offered a great suggestion of scrambled eggs on the pizza instead of the soft egg. This kept the pizza crust from getting soggy! We had a lovely dining experience and will return!

Ordered a salad before dinner. The entrees came out within 1 minute of the salad which we sent back. One entree was ribs so holding under a lamp was fine. Second was salmon and we told the server a new piece needed to be cooked vs warming. The salmon was over done and held under a lamp, we were going to a show and did not have time to wait. A glass of wine for $22 is overpriced for what is a chain restaurant. Server was great, will not return.

The potato chips with onion dip appetizer was addictive! We also loved the roasted salmon with sweet corn entree. We'll definitely be back.

This was our first visit and it was excellent! My wife and I both loved the appetizers, entrees and dessert we ordered and the service was outstanding. The menu had many options that we would like to try and we discussed afterward that we would like to go back sometime to try more of the menu items. The restaurant validated parking in the adjacent garage which made that part of the evening convenient and stress-free! We definitely plan to return in the future!

It was our first visit to Charlotte and we looked for a place close to the airport after a difficult travel day. The atmosphere was upscale and cozy at the same time. Our waitress was Katie and she went above and beyond to ask the kitchen staff how food was prepared since one of my employees has to watch for cross-contamination in food prep. We decided on a chicken cobb salad 🥗 and it was heavenly. So fresh and a great mix of flavors. I think it was the best chicken cobb salad I've ever had. Katie gave us a discount on the total bill after hearing our travel sob story. This place has the best of everything. It was the best part of our day!

Culinary Dropout has a great atmosphere and the food overall was really good. I did have an issue with my chicke, it came out with a bloody vein, so I sent it back and chose not to eat more of it. Honestly, that can happen anywhere, even at home, so I didn’t let it ruin the experience. Everything else was spot on. The mashed potatoes were excellent, the biscuit was phenomenal, and the burger was fantastic. I’d definitely recommend the restaurant and look forward to coming back.
