After a long wait with others lining up behind me, I was able to order 2 hotdogs that were luke warm. Also a medium Choco blizzard that was only vanilla ice cream halfway thru eating.
I got a chocolate milkshake made with vanilla ice cream. It was good but it could have been blended better, still some chocolate on the sides of the clear plastic glass making that easy to see but still tasted fine. I guess they were busy and inexperienced help, seems like most businesses still having help problems.
DQ is definitely a staple in the Queen City. I grew up going to DQ both the Central Ave and Wilkerson location. My favorite is the Peanut Buster Parfait with extra roasted peanuts, butterscotch dilly bars or dipped vanilla cones, and Reese/heath blizzards. I'm gonna miss DQ if he decides to close. The owner has done so much for the community. DQ was open before I was born. This brings back childhood memories for me. I hope he stays open as long as he can. I also understand...
