The food is hit or miss and they sure as hell can’t make a mixed drink. Stick to the beer.

Solid atmosphere. Big bar and attentive bar tenders!

Highly disappointed in the wait staff at the Charlotte Douglas International location. After waiting 10 minutes before a waitress attended to our table, our group simply asked for a menu, which other patrons at the restaurant were receiving. We were told that we could only order through the QR code. After questioning why we were unable to receive a menu, the waitress became belligerent and would not comply with our request. We walked out highly disappointed as our simple request could not be fulfilled. We walked down to the Tequileria in the Charlotte Douglass Atrium and were promptly served with an actual menu. I do not anticipate returning to the Whiskey River anytime soon.

Food barely edible, cheese sauce on the pork tot’s tasted like chalk! Batter on Buffalo chicken was burnt, fries cold and soggy! I cannot say anything good, the place was almost empty 4 other tables, service was slow at least a dozen employees standing around visiting or looking at their phones. Do not recommend to any one.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We stopped in for a quick bite during our layover in Charlotte and what a mistake that was. We ended up missing our connecting flight due to the lack of knowledge the server had. We sat down was told to order using their QR menu and so we did. Then we were greeted by a server to get our drinks and bring our food out. I told her that we had placed the order and shows her my receipt, she went into the kitchen and said they didn't have it, then came back and said never mind everything is good. Some time went by and when I realized that a table near us who was sat after us and their order was taken way after us got their food I began to worry. I waved our server over and asked her to please check on our order only to be told the kitchen never got it. I then asked to speak to a manager to get a refund issued because we had run out of time now and needed to go. I sent my mother and sister next door to purchase a slice of pizza because we were starving at the point and the pizza was already to go. I wish we would have never came here because it ended up ruining our experience we missed our flight and had to be rescheduled to a later flight. FYI we had only ordered appetizers to share as a quick meal and wanted to relax without our masks on during our layover. The server was completely overwhelmed by the amount of tables she had and their QR was clearly flawed, not one time did I see a manager enter the floor to check on guests who were waiting, had that happened earlier at our visit this issue probably would have been resolved sooner. After everything was said and done I was screamed at by an extremely RUDE bartender who waved our food that had been packed up TOGO in my face. I told her I don't want that and I'm sorry but your system is messed up. We never ordered my food TOGO and if I had a competent server she would have realized that and things would have been resolved before a problem was created. I will never go back here again.

I just paid $26 for sub-par chicken nachos and a soft drink. Seriously..can cheese and 3-day old reheated chicken. This place should not exist. Do yourself a favor and walk down to Salsarita in the food court or hit the Bojangles.

? In 2013. billionaire J.B. Hunt Transportation heir Towery "Tyree" M Burris-Hunt acquired interest in Whiskey River. 100s gathered to celebrate his partnership & multi billion dollar inheritance at the Club.

My husband is a huge Jr. fan and we were travelling through and took time to stop by. The vibe was cool and fun, it was a week night so it was quiet. But fun to see. I just wish they had more t-shirts in stock, my husband really wanted one but had nothing in his size. Disappointing but still glad we went.

Hello You

Was super crowded on the weekend but nice and quiet on a weekday during work hours. Food was great

I was in Charlotte for business. The restaurant was adjacent to the hotel. Great view of the Spectrum Center. I had a delicious cheeseburger and it's huge! They have a live band and a Mechanical Bull! Had a blast watching the daredevils ride (fall off) the bull. Will definitely visit again.

We went to Charlotte for the night with friends for Valentine’s Day. We went Saturday since the men didn’t have to work that day. We decided to have a drink before heading back to our rooms after dinner. We stopped here because we used to come a few years ago. My have things changed. There’s a dance floor that’s like being at a club with flashing lights. The crowd is younger than we remember as well lol. The bull is still there. We watched and enjoyed that. The bartenders are great. You don’t wait long for a drink and there’s a lot of people in that place. Shot girls walk around so you can get those instead of waiting at the bar. We enjoyed ourselves and reminisced about a time when we would be in the dance floor. I enjoy stopping in there.

I really liked this bar. Great bartenders and the DJ was playing a good variety of music. Will be back when I visit Charlotte

Come here on snowy and cold day. Seated right away. Typical bar food. Service was really good. They brought food out timely. Food was ok nothing special. I had fish and chips and my friend had a burger. He liked the selection of whiskey they had. Waitress left us alone as we were busy chatting.

We stopped in for a quick drink and we liked it. The bar had sparkling lights in the countertop and the TV's were up and loud. The cocktail menu was good and you could tell this was a late night bar. We wanted to stop it to try it, but won't be back for the late night scene more than likely.
