Final week before the Uptown closing! The chicken wings and chicken Rangoon were fabulous, and the $4 pints on Monday!

Fantastic as always. It is sad to see this place go! Looking forward to their next adventure.

Really lovely spot in uptown that has some great eats and better drinks. I would definitely recommend sharing with friends and grabbing a few different plates to split. We had the pork belly, wings, and fries which were great for our lighter appetites. Also, the servers and bartenders are personable and really take care of you.

The service was great and the atmosphere is relaxing. We enjoyed about 90 % of what we ordered. The lamb lollipops, mussels, crostini, and sweet potato gnocchi were excellent. Both my husband and I ordered the blackberry old fashioned and neither of us liked it. Additionally, we ordered the brussel sprouts and they were undercooked so none of the 4 of us finished them.

Fabulous

We are going to miss dandelion market so much. This has been one of our favorite places to eat for years and we are sad to see it go

The food was as expected from a tapas restaurant, nothing to rave about. The service was odd. We had a reservation and were seated at the top of the restaurant. When the server had approached us, she was very quiet and seemed disinterested like we were inconveniencing her. It was my first time at this restaurant and I asked for her to let me know which menu items were gluten free in which she took the menu to write what was available. She was very throughout with writing what was available. We then had another server approach us saying she was going to be taking over our table, while the other server was waiting tables there. The vibe from the servers was that we were inconveniencing them and they lacked the hospitality I would expect from a restaurant in uptown. I’m always very kind to servers so it threw me for a loop receiving this kind of poor service from a restaurant I was excited to check out. I’m thinking the servers at the top of the restaurant make less in tips based on how they seat people possibly based on their appearance and how nicely they’re dressed. Despite some of the food being good, the overall experience left a sour taste in my mouth.

Amazing food. Everything was excellent. My favourite dish was the short rib and the red velvet dessert

I chose this restarurent because it was close and within walking distance to Discovery Place. It was indeed, easy to find. What I was not expecting or did not read it the bistro atmosphere and the tapas plates. All of which turned out to be okay for my family. The food was good. Not extraordinary...no WOW factors...and good. The beer selection was excellent. I would not however recommend the chocolate brownie or the red velvet creme brule. We shared them and ate it all, and neither were our favorites. My son is a CIA trained chef, so we are perhaps a bit more discriminating than most. He has trained out taste buds, beyond the normal level. It was a good atmosphere for our 2 year old. The service was excellent. We did not dislike the restaurent, just will not go to my list of places to return, should I find myself in Chalotte again.

Our group of four stopped by to have an early dinner Saturday evening after a great performance by Charlotte Squawks at The Booth Playhouse. We were seated promptly and our server was congenial and attentive. She suggested two small plates each, which turned out to be more than enough. One of our members asked specifically whether the BBQ Short Ribs she was considering contained any soy or soy bean oil. Our server checked with the kitchen and was told it did not. Our meal was served and across the board the dishes were enjoyable. A few minutes later, though, our server returned and told us that the Ribs were, in fact, cooked in a sauce that contained soybean oil. This news was disturbing, to say the least. The manager then arrived and was apologetic, although she didn't truly seem to appreciate the gravity of the situation. A few hours later, our friend did experience a serious reaction to the meal, although fortunately the worst seems to have passed. As much as we would like to say that the positives of the evening outweighed the negative, we can't in good conscience do so.

Dandelion market is always a wonderful experience. The lamb cannot be missed and the cauliflower fritters and baked potato croquets were amazing. Highly recommended!
