They have the best spicy chicken in America

We finally got to try this place in Florence Kentucky. We've tried a couple of times before, but it was too crowded and the line was too long. My husband and I each ordered the two piece tender basket with fries and we shared a side of mac and cheese. The restaurant was clean and during our visit, I noticed employees coming out to wipe tables, sweep the floor and tidy the place up, which means something to me. I also noticed employees with hair nets and gloves. Another plus. Our food was hot and delicious. My husband got medium spice on his chicken and I got light spice. Both of us thought it was very good. We will definitely be back!

First and last time. Bought loaded fries, taste was bad. Fries and chicken had so much salt. Its like they dumped the whole pack of salt, I just threw it away. Dissapointed not sure the hype about this place.

I gave this a shot and will have to try again right now it's 3 stars I can't really say 4 stars because I didn't like the dry rub seasoned texture my tender sliders had maybe it was texture or the spice but i won't say flavor. Now I said sliders, but I got giant tender sandwiches with pickles galore. I was pleasantly surprised by the pickles. I liked the fries and the seasoning on them it might be the same as what was on the chicken except way less. If I get a chance to try it again before leaving Charlotte I will update this review. I tried mild and probably will go hotter to see if this makes the difference.

What’s the point in having a phone if your not going to answer

Spent 50 dollars on 2 milkshakes and 2 2 Slider meals for me and my girlfriend. The food although hot was not good. We both enjoy spicy food, but this was spicy without flavor. It literally tasted just like they put paprika, cumin, and something like szechuan extract on the sandwich because it was just spicy, with 0 flavor. Fries were mid at best and the shakes were on par with the ones you can get in a machine at a gas station, if not a little worse. All this after waiting for like 10 minutes for the cashier to get done playing around with some kids that made it unbearable to want to be inside the building. Also wheni went to pick up my food there was a roach on the floor so that did not set me up to be satisfied at all. Overall never going back.

There is nothing really special about the chicken - it is packed with spices (on top) but not cooked in spices. The chicken tenders look big… but ssoooo much fat…. Most of it went in the trash. Just not for me. I like my food to be cooked and spices not just spices on top of it.

May 8th- The food was hot, fresh, and delicious, but the fries became soggy due to excessive cheese sauce . I know it'll be a 5-star rating if I request cheese on the side. I'll make sure to request cheese sauce on the side during my next visit.

Just wow! The experience is awesome

It was my first time eating at a Dave’s. I’ve done some advertising for them and always wanted to try it. Quiesha took my order and was so nice and helpful (give this lady a raise). I tried the reaper chicken and had to sign a waiver, which always gets me pumped. It was legit HOT. Don’t get it unless you’re a pro. I loved the fries and Dave’s sauce, it’s better than Zax’s sauce. The mac and cheese was perfect too. I loved everything about this place. Their mascot/logo makes me chuckle every time I see it. I’m not even gonna go there, haha

This was me and my partners first time trying Dave’s Hot Chicken, and we were absolutely obsessed! The interior, food, customer service was amazing. We were out of town for a concert, and we finally had to opportunity to check out Dave’s Hot Chicken, and we were absolutely delighted! We would love if you made a location in Winston-Salem, we were discussing talking about driving out for date night (an hour+ long drive) just to enjoy us some chicken here! Will be coming again ❤️

The interior spray-paint aesthetic, chicken rubber toys around the walls, interesting menu options including tender, sliders, milkshakes, slushies, large orders, and heat options (felt accurate) sauces (honey, Dave’s sauce, ect).

Me and my daughter dined in here a few weeks ago. The service was great, the atmosphere was filled with college students conversing and local families alike. I will come back again!
