What a wonderful date night! My wife is quite particular when it comes to a freshly opened bottle of wine. The waitress said she didn't know the newest bottle that had been opened, but “I will open one for you” BAM best response ever! Sushi was great! We ate outside - perfect. We will be back!

Arrived for a reservation about an hour before closing. Were seated promptly and ordered but after waiting 45 minutes for our food we were told our order hadn't been placed properly and the restaurant was closed.

Absolutely Horrible Service – Avoid at All Costs

If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at Deejai Noodle Bar was nothing short of a disaster.

We arrived and placed our order after waiting for our server to return—already a bad sign. We ordered appetizers, expecting at least a reasonable wait, but 30 minutes passed with nothing. No food, no updates, just us sitting there wondering if they had forgotten we existed.

We continued to wait, giving them the benefit of the doubt, but still—nothing. It wasn’t until after the restaurant had closed that they finally informed us that our order was never even sent to the kitchen. Not a single dish made it to our table the entire night. No attempt to fix the mistake, no real apology—just a casual acknowledgment that we had wasted our time sitting there for nothing.

To make matters worse, the soy sauce dish at our table was sticky and dirty, a glaring sign of the lack of care put into both service and cleanliness.

This was, hands down, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for good food and competent service, go somewhere else. Deejai Noodle Bar is not worth your time or money.

the drunken noodles were absolutely bomb and the servers are all really nice and the atmosphere was good

I haven’t taken a bite of the food yet. After an entire hour of waiting for the food to be delivered, they didn’t include the two drinks that were supposed to come with the order. The Pad Thai is nearly $20 and comes in a small take-out container. The door dasher was friendly and informed me that the drinks weren’t included when she picked the order up, so I don’t blame her.

Our dinner was amazing! I had noted that it was my daughter's birthday and they put us in a separate corner with a huge banner on the wall! The food was great and our server was so sweet and wonderful!

I’m sorry to say, but this is some of the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. For context, I’ve lived in Thailand and eaten Thai food all over the US. This isn’t passable as anything even remotely close to authentic Thai food. I wish I didn’t have to write this review but i feel called to notify anyone else who may be contemplating eating here to scratch their Thai food cravings. This was the epitome of white washed, western Thai food. Not a hint of fish sauce or oyster sauce in any of the dishes. The pad Thai is generic sweet sauce over noodles. And the drunken noodles was soupy, sweet and served with the wrong type of noodles—just not right. The cherry on top was finding the cook’s hair in our Tom yum soup, which was glorified tomato soup with none of the lemongrass zing you’d expect. I hate to say it, but I can make better Thai food at home—and I wish I did instead of eating here. The only redeeming quality was the service. $40+ for 2 terribly sub-par entrees made me feel like we got bamboozled. My wife quite literally almost threw up after. I don’t like to be a hater, but I feel obligated to warn others given all of the positive reviews (which is how we ended up here in the first place).

Ugh, this was the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. We ordered the Tom yum soup, drunken noodles and pad thai. The soup had a hair in it and the two noodles dishes were really bad. The sauce tasted like they were straight out of a bottle. We definitely wouldn’t go back. The servers were super friendly though!

I usually RAVE to everyone in town about how much I love Deejai’s Pad Thai, but for the past two visits it’s been dry. It ruins the taste and texture of the dish as a whole and it’s disappointing when it’s something that I’ve been craving. I would like to get in contact with someone to resolve this, but if not I’ll have to just have to find a new Pad Thai spot.

WOW!! Worth more than 5 stars. Food was fantastic. Atmosphere was decorated for Valentine's. Had the green curry mussels, multiple sushi rolls, salmon curry, pad Thai. Insanely good!!!

Ordered the drunken noodles for take out. Asked for a spice level of a 4 out of 5… food came back with no spice whatsoever but unfortunately I didn’t find that out until I got my food home to eat. If you’re looking for good drunken noodles, this isn’t the place and the food and portion sizes are definitely not worth the price.. Try Spice Asian kitchen in Fort Mill instead. It’s a bit of a drive but much more worth it.

Good basic thai food but not that much protein given. Got spice level 5/5 but it wasn’t that spicy for me. Ordered the tom yum soup with chicken and the pad thai with steak.

The food wasn't my cup of tea...but the service was impeccable!! Cassidy was the absolute sweetest and did all she could to ensure that I had an enjoyable experience. SHE SUCCEEDED!

Parking: Not a lot of parking spaces available right outside the restaurant however there are plenty of street parking spaces when you can find them.

Off the cuff choice, though we frequently take out from their sister restaurant. Great spot and great food

If you’re looking for Thai food this is NOT the place to go. I’m shocked by the great reviews. I’m Asian and have been to a fair share of Thai spots and this one has to be one of the worst. They use fettuccine noodles for the drunken and pad see ew noodles. The Thai tea was basically water. I will say if you’re coming for sushi the sushi was pretty decent. But that’s about where it stops. If you don’t care for Thai food and just looking for an American washed Asian fast food spot this might work. However if you’re coming to look for some authentic or even near authentic Thai food, don’t even bother wasting your money on 20$ per person servings for some fettuccine noodles, with frozen veggies, and lack of Thai sauce or flavor .
