Definitely a cool place that I never knew existed. The coffee was really good and the selection was great. The barista was also super cool. I think they have a smaller food due selection to no one being in the offices above. But I'll definitely be back!

Home of my current coffee crush: an iced mocha latte, add mint. I am obsessed. I've been frequenting Waterbean a lot during COVID because they have a drive-thru. On top of that, all the workers at the window are wearing masks (and are also as nice as can be). I have the same order every time. I can't quit that iced latte, minty mocha goodness. I get a large, comes to $5.68 before tip. Christian always gets a hot caramel latte (I guess we are creatures of habit). I love that they put a chocolate covered espresso bean on the lid of your beverage. Nice touch!

They could not have been ruder to me and I would give them no stars if I could. I see all the good reviews and am happy that others get a better experience. And I know things are different with Covid-19 but this does not excuse how I was treated. I was in need of a coffee and tried to go to the front door to take a drink as a takeout order. I was rudely told by an employee who was lounging with his feet up and playing on his phone that it was a drive-thru only. I asked what about those who are walking and don't have a car, he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Not. Good. At. All. I won't be going back anytime soon, there are plenty of other amazing coffee places I can go to...

Looking for a place to "espresso" yourself? Then head here for some of the best espressos in CrownTown! ⁣ ⁣ This First Ward contemporary cafe has a chic minimalist vibe w/lots of natural light and ample indoor seating + patio seating for a nice alfresco option.⁣ ⁣ They not only offer a coffegasmic espresso flight of their daily espresso-blend options (served with sparkling water to cleanse the palate), but they have a plethora of other caffeine options and some bites as well. ⁣ *their biscottis are made in-house at their Huntersville location⁣! ⁣ The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable + they have free-designated prkg spaces in their attached lot! ⁣

Neat little coffee shop with just the right amount of options! Menu is straightforward and the Maple Spice Latte w/oat milk in particular was delicious! Vegan options available even vegan smoothies! Definitely worth a stop when you're in Charlotte! Nice break from the norm!

The coffee is better than what's in the break room but just OK. The bagels are stale and not even sliced. Slicing a bagel with a plastic knife is not a happy way to start your day.

I recently went for the first time and had the white chocolate raspberry latte and it was incredible! Their macarons were also great. I also love that they have tons of tea options which I definitely plan to try next time! The staff were great as well!

This is such a wonderful little spot here in Charlotte! My friends and I were looking for somewhere that had boba, and happened upon this place. It truly is such a beautiful little spot; I adore the atmosphere of Waterbean-it has some really great vibes. The employee was very helpful & kind while I was trying decide what to get-I ended up getting one of their boba frappes. It was super fresh and flavorful, and the little fruity explosions of boba really made he drink. The prices of this place are fair I'd say-not overly expensive yet not cheap. I can't wait until I go back! I'd love to try the selection of coffee and little sweet treats they have. Give Waterbean a try! You won't regret it :)

Love this spot. The ambiance is wonderful. Great location to meet people who love coffee or to socialize with. Coffee is amazing and it's not your local store. I love that it's also have drive through windows pull up to. Definitely a spot and location Charlotte has to offer

Stumbled across the cutest organic coffee house uptown. Light food and pastry menu along with vegan smoothies, espresso bar and an amazing fresh tea selection. You wont be disappointed

The Matcha latte is pretty bad. It tastes grassy and almost burned. It was pretty gross. I tried the Chai Latte and that tasted pretty bad also, it tasted like cheap chai concentrate. Not really impressed with the service or seating layout. "Queen City Grounds" is a stones throw away and a MUCH better option for seating and beverage quality. The staff there( @ Queen City Grounds) is super personable as well. Varied seating is super important in a good coffee shop experience. All of the seats here were hard surfaces; no cushions, no couch, no armchair...nada. If the goal is to have people not get comfy, it's a great design. If not, adding some cushions would be a great improvement.
