I hate to do this because, they actually have been friendly compared to most Jamaican restaurants. But their prices are flat out ridiculous and the quality doesn't match. If yahll want longevity, please reconsider your prices. The Jerk Chicken was watery and overcooked , the Chicken Patty was hard and Dry at 12pm. And $8 for a pineapple Juice?
The flavors were decent just poorly executed and severely overpriced.

Don’s Jamaican Kitchen is hands down the best Jamaican restaurant in Charlotte! Sorry I didn’t snap a picture of my plate, but trust me, it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the jerk shrimp with rice and peas, cabbage, plantains, and a side of fried okra. The jerk sauce had the perfect kick, spicy but not overwhelming. Every bite was amazing, and the portions were generous. To top it off, I even got to meet Don himself, such a cool and welcoming guy. I’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I tried Dons for the first time at the outlet mall, and we were in awe at how good the food was, flavorful and authentic! Finally some authentic and flavorful Jamaican food! I had curry my husband had the brown stew rice was good, the cabbage was good even tried the mac and that was good! They were very nice people and accommodating we got there kinda late, and even the last of the items were delicious! We will definitely be back!

This is what you call REAL AUTHENTIC Jamaican food 🤌🏽 The jerk chicken.. Amazing, and great flavor (You can adjust the spice level if you can’t take the heat) The beef patty… crispy and loaded with beef (not skimpy) the chicken was good too The ginger drink and lemon lime juice PERFECTION! FYI it’s made from fresh ingredients in house. Also worth a try, “TING”grapefruit soda they have in the refrigerators!

I ordered the brown stew chicken, and it was absolutely perfect—tender, well-seasoned, and cooked with that rich, savory sauce that makes you want to lick the plate. The rice and peas were fluffy and well-seasoned, and the plantains had just the right sweetness. Even though it’s in a busy outlet mall, the food tasted like it came straight from a home kitchen.
