The food is overpriced, there is no justification for charging $30.00 for this box of food (see photo). I literally got a few pieces of oxtail, some rice, two pieces of plantain and cabbage. Totally unacceptable!!!
Don’s Jamaican Kitchen is hands down the best Jamaican restaurant in Charlotte! Sorry I didn’t snap a picture of my plate, but trust me, it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the jerk shrimp with rice and peas, cabbage, plantains, and a side of fried okra. The jerk sauce had the perfect kick, spicy but not overwhelming. Always tasty food! The customer service is always very sweet and polite! Highly recommend their lunch specials and the bread is absolutely perfection.
