I ordered an iced decaf vanilla latte at the farmers market and got the worst drink I’ve ever had. There’s barely any milk in there, all the ice was melted and they said they don’t use espresso so I’m not sure what kind of drink they think they’re making. I def didn’t get an iced vanilla latte though.

A++ easily - I've been twice and each time the coffee was fantastic; need to go back real soon. Definitely takes a little while to make but you know they care about quality; especially with the thorough information given by the kind baristas
Best coffee, taste so good. The owner is super friendly.
Tried to go this morning. Was told the owners show up whenever despite these posted hours.
My drink was delicious. ☺️Tipping was definitely awkward. They ring a bell loudly when you tip. They swing around the payment screen right in front of you and watch choose your tip amount. I was going to tip to begin with, but I don't like making a show of it for the rest of the people in line. It puts unintended pressure on people.
My wife and I stopped into Blackhawk Hardware earlier today and stumbled upon this cute coffee window. I ordered a Cold Brew coffee and it was outstanding!
This was my first time at Blackhawk as there’s nothing appealing for me at a hardware store. But, my stepdad made me promises of Amelie’s and “the best coffee I’ve ever had”. In a hardware store. My interest was piqued so I went.Dunx is located in the back of Blackhawk’s second floor and could be easy to miss, so don’t! This coffee is GOOD. Like, REALLY GOOD coffee. Because they do small batch pour overs, it takes longer to make than your standard coffee shop but it’s so worth it. Even their decaf was awesome. There’s a one pager that explains what they do to their beans. The young guy behind the counter was very friendly and did a great job with the coffee. Can’t wait to come back to this hidden gem in Blackhawk!

The best "secret garden" coffee shop you can find in Charlotte! If you are a coffee aficionado and like trying different blends and beans this is 100% the place for you to visit. I can't recommend this establishment any higher

Best coffee place in Charlotte. They're both incredible roasters and incredible brewers. They have over a dozen roast choices to choose from, and if you don't know much about coffee roasts, they're more than happy to help you select which brew matches your taste. Flavors range from nutty, to chocolate, to fruity, and they always grind the beans fresh for your cup.
Nice little coffee window inside Blackhawk Hardware. I got the Pink Lady blend on recommendation of a sweeter taste. I’m usually more of a latte person, but it was good! They have almond milk and blue agave syrup available.
Such a great drink and such a nice owner
I was in Blackhawk hardware and I came across this coffee shop nestled in the right front of the store. I talked with the owner Duncan (aka Dunx founder/owner) and he selected an awesome blend for me when I explained the flavor profile I was looking for. It’s nice to see outside of San Francisco someone so enthusiastic about the roasting process. I also brought home the Christmas Blend and it is amazing. It has a nice medium body, low acidity and a nice subtle smoked nutty flavor. Highly recommend and the owner is very pleasant to talk to about coffee.
Unique flavors from REAL coffee beans. Not desert in a cup. Great staff.
