No frills - it is what would expect: a confort food joint with all the usual suspects. One thing to their credit: they make good fried chicken. We tried several sides and every one was very good. Fast and friendly staff. One thing to point out: chairs definitely need some cushion.

Overall it was OK. The food selection is limited and for a place that boasts it's a beer joint, the selection was limited to me. The mac and cheese was good, the grilled cheese was surprising and 5 dollar shot of the day is cool.

Met family for a late lunch. Ventured in based off the good reviews and was happy about the recent hours change to open at 11am vs 4 pm. The sports bar description is a bit hit or miss. We sat in one of the large booths across from the bar. From those seats the TVs are obstructed by a huge wooden beam on both sides. The vibe was laid back, not much enthusiasm behind the greeting or menu overview for new patrons. We started with a few beers on draft and hush puppy appetizer. The hush puppies were just okay and definitely were helped by the dipping sauce but would be better served with a hot honey butter spread. The menu flow compliments a family a la cart style. We ordered the Whole Chicken(TENDER AND JUICY BUT WEIRD SEASONING USED) with hot honey glaze sauce. Seems like there's an Old Bay flavor in the season background which is a NO for me. For sides we chose the Homemade Biscuits(HEAVY AND DRY), Succotash(FROZEN VEGETABLE BAG MIX with some bacon thrown in for a bit of flavor), Sweet Potatoes(FROZEN ENTREE taste), Mac & cheese(POTENTIAL but just ok)and Shrimp and grits (SALTY) I can only assume based on the many good reviews, yesterday was just an off day in the kitchen.

Manny the server was pleasant, energetic, professional, and prompt with Great Customer Service. We were seated at our request by the window view to South Blvd. I loved the atmosphere, clean, plenty of Sunlight. The Cheerful Manager Brittany came to check on us as well. No complaints for the manager. Food was delicious and HOT. The Shrimp & Grits in a skillet was my favorite for $10.00. So many affordable items on the Menu. I will return for my FREE Appetizer next visit. Excellent Experience!

Nice vibe and atmosphere. It's almost like a modern yet rustic bar and grill. Just enough menu entrees. Nice selection of beer, wine, etc. The food quality ( taste, smell, presentation) was great. The service could have been better. Our waiter was pleasant but didn't inquire if we wanted dessert, checked on us a few times during dining. ***We were on a date but the dining area has family seating options.***Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return.Parking: Multiple levels deckKid-friendliness: Quite a few patrons had children and the atmosphere is pleasant

Very pretty restaurant, however the service and food was subpar. I went on a Sunday with a friend at around 8pm and the restaurant was majority empty. It took around 20 minutes for a waitress to even come to the table. We ordered the pitcher of blackberry lemonade and that barely had any liquor in it. For $48 it is not worth it. The manager was super nice and took it back when we told him we were not satisfied with it. The food took about another 45-50 mins to come out and when it finally did it was lukewarm as if it was sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. I had to send the sweet potato skillet back because it just did not taste good warm. The fried chicken was well seasoned but the skin was soft and not crispy. I only gave 2 stars because the manager was very nice and the collard greens and spoon bread was exceptional.

Heard a manager say she would not give a military discount, which they typically do, because she doesn't "F with the military." Never returning. How disgusting and disrespectful. It was the younger white lady.

Food was absolutely amazing and Alona was the best server! Great place to eat on Sunday and there wasn't a wait either.
