Buddy and I popped in Friday night for something to eat. Ed's was busy so we struggled to find a place to park but inside we found plenty of open tables with lots of TV's to watch games on.
Good atmosphere. You pick out your own seat so had to flag down a server. Once we got her attention, she was great. Instead of ordering meals we ordered wings and two of the dips (buffalo chicken and spinach artichoke). The apps were tasty and we enjoyed our visit.
The next day we wanted to grab a quick lunch and watch some of the early football games so we actually went back to Ed's. Again, parking lot was packed and had to park next door at Food Lion, but was able to get a table no problem. Ordered the appetizer sampler which had five of the appetizers included and ordered some of the chicken bites with a sweat Tai sauce. Again, food was really good and we had great service. Didn't get the servers name so wish they would have told us so we could give them a shout out.
Ed's is a great place to go watch games. Had four different college games on when we were there and lots of fans cheering when their team did something positive.
Great place to hang out and neither of drink alcohol.

My coworkers and I love coming here for lunch—it’s super convenient with plenty of parking in the back, large patio with fans, and the service is always quick. The salad portions are huge, definitely enough to share or take some back to the office. Another bonus is that it’s close to a great local bar in Southend/Dilworth Overall, it’s become a local fav

I ordered a steak salad I wasn’t impressed because they added steak ems what you use for a Philly cheese steak for the steak I thought I was getting real steak not chopped steak other than that the salad was good I just threw the steak away 😫 I think they need to update menu an put chopped steak salad.

I go here occasionally with friends. It's a fun environment with above average bar food. It can get pretty loud and crowded inside but everyone is nice and the staff is attentive.
My husband and I just moved to Cornelius,NC from Texas, and I’m so happy to have found this nice spot! Delicious food, and drinks, we will be back!

Melanee is hands down one of the best parts of Ed’s Tavern! From the moment I sat down, she made me feel welcome with her friendly smile and upbeat energy. She’s attentive without hovering, always has great drink recommendations, and somehow manages to remember everyone’s order with ease—even on a packed lunch day. She even gave me seating by a plugin so I could do work while I ate. Her service is consistently top-notch, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her guests having a great time!

We’ve been coming to Ed’s since moving to Charlotte in 2012 - almost daily when we lived around the corner - took a hiatus after we moved to the ‘burbs but have recently been going periodically. This is meant as a compliment but nothing has changed - Service, food, atmosphere still great. Other than that brief Bourbon and Burgers name change that was attempted awhile back, they never disappoint.
