A hidden jewel. I will be going back soon.
After reading everyones reviews about the great food, I had to comment. They definitely have great service, atmosphere and the entertainment was great as well, BUT, the food and cocktails are sub-par. We brought a party of 11 and everyone couldn’t wait to leave. No desire for desert, coffee or after cocktails. Even my grandsons burger was bad. Cocktails were not great and the beer was warm. I had to request ice for my beer. I hate that. Hopefully it was just an off night for the kitchen and they bounce back. Good luck!
Best place in town no doubt! the music is amazing, bring me back to Miami, Nathaly was very sweet, thank you for the cigar. My wife and I had a wonderful time, panama en los timbales, the singers.. wow!👌The food was delicious, the drinks were great.
Overall; if you like great food, music, drinks and dancing.. this is the place ☝️
I made a reservation for my birthday. Upon arrival, the hostess congratulated me, but no one else, not even the waitress. If you're going to celebrate your birthday, don't expect the usual fanfare or happy birthday chants you get in most restaurants. Otherwise, the food was delicious. The drinks were beautifully presented and prepared. 5 stars for the bartender and 5 stars for the chef.
Authentic Cuban flavor in every bite. El Puro serves up delicious dishes like ropa vieja and crispy tostones, all full of homemade taste. The vibrant atmosphere, music, and cocktails make you feel like you’ve stepped into Havana. A spot full of soul and warmth.
Food was delish. Serving size somewhat small for price but it taste good. Went on a Fridaywity the cubanband playing. We were sat close and we had a blast dancing and singing along. Def look forward to returning.
This was our first time at El Puro and it was a great experience! The live music was a pleasant surprise and created an added element to our date night! The food was also delicious! We will definitely be back!
We had a very nice time. Food was good, service was excellent from our waitress Anna, and the live music was a real treat. I would love to live near so we could come on a regular basis.
The live music and photographer were unexpected and fun. Delicious food, unique appetizer presentation and beautifully presented entree. Spontaneous dancing couple was fun to watch.
Great service! Delicious food and drinks! Loved the live entertainment!! Never disappointed!

Extremely authentic Cuban restaurant. A diamond in the rough hidden in a strip mall in no-mans land on South Blvd. We got the app which has a little of everything on it. Everything was fantastic. Then we got some Tostones which were too greasy for me. We also got an order of the shrimp civiche which was good but a bit too much cilantro for me. We finished with flan for desert that was awesome and the wife got a Cuban Cappuccino which she loved. We started dinner at 7 and a live band came on at 8. Band was loud and fun. People were up and dancing the whole time. We couldn't understand anything they were saying or singing since we don't speak Spanish but it added to the experience. This is our second time there. We will make it one of our regulars.
Good first visit to El Puro. Food was very good and service wonderful. I would have liked a true salad option on the menu to counteract the very rich-tasting entres. This is expensive -- more than $200 for three diners with one cocktail and one bottle of wine -- so we will reserve for special occasions.
We were excited to try this place—the atmosphere was fun and the food ended up being great—but the service was a big letdown. After being seated, we waited over 15 minutes with no greeting or water, while other tables around us were promptly helped. We eventually had to flag someone down, and were told there'd been a mix-up with our server. The food came out quickly, and the server who stepped in did their best to make up for the delay. But after we finished eating, we were again left waiting—this time for about 45 minutes—trying to get someone's attention just to pay the bill. No one checked on us at all. Overall, a disappointing experience on the service front, despite the good food and vibe.
Friday night dinner with friends. We sat outside and it was very pleasant. If you don't want loud music, this is the place to sit. Every dish we had was super. Arroz con pollo, oxtails, and braised beef were extremely flavorful and perfectly prepared. Our server was great. If you want real, authentic, Cuban food, this is the place.
Overall experience was great! The atmosphere was great, service was great! We got the tres leches pancakes. Although they sounded amazing, they were TOO sweet that we couldn't even finish ours and only 2 pancakes for $17 is a bit outrageous if you ask me.
