Ambience was very pleasant. The live music was very entertaining. The food was mediocre and overpriced. Carne con Papa was extremely salty and the rest of the food was very bland. Definitely not your typical Cuban dish. The cocktail's were on point. For a party of 6 we spent over $500!

The food was fine — not great, not terrible. And we had the same thoughts about the service. The main problem was the band being SO loud that we couldn't hear each other talk. Our group of 4 literally could not have a conversation due to the volume of the band — and we weren't even sitting very close to the stage. It would have been nice for the hostess to say “there's going to be live music tonight, would you prefer a table outside or inside?” We had no idea live music was coming to interrupt our whole dinner. And when we left El Puro, only a few of the outdoor patio tables had diners so we could have easily sat out there, if we'd been given the choice. Not a good experience.

Celebrated my husband's birthday with family and friends. The vibe was energetic. The staff members and servers were courteous and attentive. We enjoyed the food and the 2 man band was entertaining. Great celebration!

The excellent food because it is a Caribbean combination and unique Cuban flavours I love the Ropa Vieja . the music makes you feel in a unique environment, I know that I will continue to return with my family 100% recommended

Food was good. Unless you enjoy loud music where you can't have a conversation with the person sitting next to you, I suggest going before 8 PM on a Saturday night. When I booked my reservation the restaurant website did not state there was any music or entertainment for Saturday night. We would've probably stayed longer and talked with our guests, but we cannot have a conversation with each other because the music was just so loud.

After reading everyones reviews about the great food, I had to comment. They definitely have great service, atmosphere and the entertainment was great as well, BUT, the food and cocktails are sub-par. We brought a party of 11 and everyone couldn’t wait to leave. No desire for desert, coffee or after cocktails. Even my grandsons burger was bad. Cocktails were not great and the beer was warm. I had to request ice for my beer. I hate that. Hopefully it was just an off night for the kitchen and they bounce back. Good luck!

My wife and I had a wonderful time, panama en los timbales, the singers.. wow!👌The food was delicious, the drinks were great. I made a reservation for my birthday. Upon arrival, the hostess congratulated me, but no one else, not even the waitress. If you're going to celebrate your birthday, don't expect the usual fanfare or happy birthday chants you get in most restaurants. Otherwise, the food was delicious. The drinks were beautifully presented and prepared. 5 stars for the bartender and 5 stars for the chef.
