We have enjoyed Empire pizza for a while, but the last several times we' been the food has not been great and the service slow. We were there tonight and there were lots of tables without food and several additional tables that hadn't been cleaned after a previous guest. The pizza is soggy and doesn't have much flavor. We keep going back because our first experiences were great, but it's defiantly lacking these days.

We visited for my birthday and the food was exceptional as well as our server. We have been going here for years! Never have they let us down.

Empire is a Charlotte area chain that makes some great NY Style Pizza. I have been to 4 locations and I think this one is my favorite. Easy to park, always clean, great service and food is always good!
They have some great specials for November!
Hey Empire Pizza, can you please put a location in Indian Trail near Sun Valley or in Wesley Chapel!!!!

We went in last night and service was awful. I used to love this place so much now they take forever to bring food. Really really sad when you’re a loyal customer.

Wish I could give 0 stars. We have been long time customers of empire and have been sad to see its rapid decline ove the last year. Came in tonight at 5pm and ordered a side salad, mozzarella sticks, and a kids pizza. The food never came, we left after almost an hour of waiting. Management was supposed to come over to our table and never did. Extremely disappointing experience, empire has lost a customer
Absolutely phenomenal pasta 😍 I hope this place never ever changes its recipe for how the shrimp and sausage pasta was made. The sauce, the ciabtta bread, the quality of the meats everything was superb and perfect. This will be my go to meal for a long time if this recipe stays the same. 5 stars and massive shout out to the chef and kitchen staff 👌 🙌 👏

So why am I giving a 1 star, mainly it’s their price specifically on their small which if you didn’t know is 9 - 9.5” diameter for $11.99 (since their menu doesn’t tell you this information) You are getting less than an inch diameter of pizza per dollar before you even put toppings on. If you want a pepperoni small it’s $13 plus tax so around $14.50. To put this in perspective you can go to another pizza place 5-10 minutes down the road get a pizza just as good if not better that’s a 14” and will cost $15.90 for a pepperoni pizza. Empire really needs to either increase the size of the small, decrease its price, or add a medium size at 14” at the average pizza rate as their pizza is no where near as good as the price tag they are selling it at. The price is actual highway robbery. The small should be at around $9 with no toppings and $0.75 a topping for its size to be on par with other places.

Wonderful and fast service. Our server was very attentive, although it was a bustling evening.

Pepperoni pizza was a bit greasy but otherwise tasted good. The garlic parmesan wings were excellent as was the ranch dip. Service was not as attentive as it should have been with a trainee and a server trainer. The trainee has a ways to go before I would call him a server/waiter. He demonstrates very little anticipation far as refills and visiting our table on a timely basis.
