5/5 Stars – Delicious Vegan Food! I stopped at Enat Ethiopian Restaurant while passing through Charlotte and picked up a vegan platter to go — and it was incredible! Every item was flavorful and satisfying, and the injera was so good I could eat it every day. The staff was friendly and welcoming, even for a quick carry-out order. I left happy, full, and already wanting to come back. Highly recommend!

Tucked away in a bustling Charlotte food hall, an Ethiopian eatery is redefining vegan cuisine with flavors that'll make your taste buds dance! This unassuming spot is serving up plant-based perfection that's got locals and visitors alike buzzing. The Vegan Plate: Prepare for a feast! The vegan offering here is a flavor explosion paired with portions that'll have you wondering if they accidentally doubled your order. It's a colorful array of Ethiopian delights that proves vegan food is anything but boring. Speed and Service: In a hurry? No problem! The friendly staff here work like well-oiled machines, whipping up your meal faster than you can say "injera." But don't let the speed fool you - every dish is crafted with care and bursting with authentic flavors. Atmosphere: Nestled in the heart of a vibrant food hall, this Ethiopian gem offers a unique dining experience. It's the perfect spot for a quick lunch, a casual dinner, or an adventurous date night. Value: With generous portions and reasonable prices, your wallet will be as happy as your stomach. Bottom Line: This Ethiopian spot is the definition of a hidden gem. It's proof that sometimes the best culinary adventures happen where you least expect them. Whether you're a committed vegan or just looking to expand your palate, this place is a must-visit. Don't let its humble food hall location fool you - this is Ethiopian cuisine at its finest, and it just happens to be vegan-friendly too!
I was in Charlotte 3 weeks ago and I wanted to try something different. This was my first time eating Ethiopian food. It taste really good. I never had injera before and the staff explain to me how to eat it. I had a great experience eating here. I will definitely try Ethiopian food again.

I had my hesitancy about a to-go order of injera, but I was pleasantly surprised by my meal here. Grabbed the beef awaze with lentils and cabbage, and all of it was delicious. The meat was really well seasoned and plentiful so worth the price. There was a good amount of injera to enjoy the meal and this itself was exactly what I would have wanted. The menu has a ton of options so would definitely consider coming back for some of their other offerings.

First time trying Ethiopian food and I couldn’t have picked a better spot than Enat Ethiopian in Optimist Hall. The flavors were incredible—rich, bold, and totally different from anything I’ve had before. The injera was soft with the perfect tang, and every dish had its own unique spice and depth.
Portions were generous, and the staff took time to explain what everything was, which made the experience even better. Great spot for something new and flavorful. Highly recommend if you’re open to trying something different—you won’t be disappointed.

Optimist Hall food court is a great place to find a great variety of foods for any palate. I ate at Enat Ethiopian, and it was delicious! I got the crispy beef tibs with cabbage and lentils. Full of flavor, so satisfying. I actually had to get a take away box, couldn't finish it all.
Good service, great experience.

My wife and I went to charlotte for the weekend. We stopped by optimist hall for lunch and after seeing someone else’s delicious looking food, stopped by Enat Ethiopian !! I had the lamb with red lentils, collards, and pita and it was the best meal I had all weekend. All the meats will be on my list for our next visit.
