Great food, very friendly. It is a small family place. Only a few tables. Loved the traditional food.

I have had my eye on this place after driving past it a couple times and finally stopped by last weekend for an early lunch. They have parking in the back and the restaurant can either be accessed from the front or from the back through their grocery store entrance which is attached. It's a cute little cafe-esque style restaurant with both indoor and indoor seating. Fairly easy going atmosphere that was both relaxing and comforting.

I decided to order what they were known for and went with the small cevaps plate. I found this to be the perfect portion of food while still allowing a little room for dessert. The cevaps were fairly hardy and had a bit of a char from the grill. The bosnian style flatbread (lepinja) was soft and a little crunchy from being toasted on the flat top. The accompanying condiments (sour cream and ajvar I believe) were much needed as the flavors were otherwise pretty standard. As a whole though, it was a nice little meal for an early Sunday lunch.

I feel like this type of meal isn't complete without a dessert of sorts so I finished off with a hurmašica. I'm not even sure what to compare this to but it was delicious! It reminded me of a style of biscuit that has just been soaking in a light syrup which softened it up nicely. I also loved that the syrup wasn't overly sweet like it can be with some Balkan desserts.

I did want to touch on the service. The food arrived in a fairly timely manner but the service was just a bit slow. However, I didn't mind as I wasn't in a rush to get anywhere. Just something to keep in mind if you are tight for time. However, if you are coming here with a friend or two, it just offers more time to catch up!
