Famous Toastery Ayrsley

I didn't know this restaurant existed because I'm new to Charlotte, so I wanted to give it a try. I saw it while driving around. Upon entering the facility, I was pleasantly and professionally greeted. That is so important for me. I was seated immediately, despite the restaurant being busy. They also had outdoor seating, but it was too hot to be out there. My server, whose name was Nashera, was phenomenal. When I tell you, she was so kind, pleasant, genuine, and professional from start to finish. She was running around taking care of multiple things, but not once did she neglect my table. I ordered the Blah Blah Blah Omelet and had it with turkey sausage, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and goat cheese. My side was the breakfast potatoes. I also had the sourdough toast, which I won't get toasted next time, but it was still delicious. Their fresh-squeezed orange juice was so good and refreshing--the best I have had. I enjoyed my food. I didn't care for the cornbread that they gave upon seating. Something was missing. It was also a little too dry for my taste. I will definitely be going back again, and I suggest you give them a try.

Made my wife and I wait 30minutes after sitting us to order despite being at 1/4th capacity (super slow). The food was good but there was a fly in my wife’s water when she got it.

I just ordered my breakfast trough DoorDash, and so disappointed what I just received, a capuchino less than the 1/4 of the cup(it tasted more as expresso), a $5dollar cup of fruit that as probably less than 8 little pieces of fruit and “famous waffles” with no mixed berry compote on the top. This was so far away from what they offered.

I came here with a group of friends over the weekend, and received possibly the worst service I’ve ever experienced.
To start with my fiance and I showed up early to get us on the waitlist (my friends were maybe 15 minutes behind us).
When we told the staff we had a party of 7, we were met with blank stares. Mind you they don’t take reservations so no call ahead notice would have done any good.
We were asked multiple times while we waited, sometimes by the same person, if we had been helped yet. Looks like communication amongst the team doesn’t exist!
When we were all eventually seated, after about 45 minutes of standing around, our server was probably the most incompetent server I’ve had in my experience with this locations.
Modifications were over looked, she was unfamiliar with the menu, when paying things were entered in wrong and we had to wait for help to get things changed.
If this person was new, maybe don’t throw her to the wolves on the most popular brunch day of the week.
Overall not the best experience.

Took an hour after getting there before we got out food. Had to wait in line again to pay. They rang up our order wrong, so I had to fight to get it corrected. We were there for 2 hours total

Wanted to treat my boys to pancakes today. It was super empty, sat ourselves. Literally waited 15 min plus and not 1 server came to our table. No offer of water or a drink. There were folks that came in after and were served prior to us. Did I mention, it was not busy at all! Terrible experience, all I wanted to do was treat my kiddos to pancakes. Basic customer service is a lost art! Smh!

Nashera was an absolute delight! We had a party of 14 and this was the third brunch spot we tried for accommodations. She was so helpful with getting the tables set up in a timely manner, getting us seated, menus passed out, and getting our drinks and food orders. Nashera has a beautiful demeanor, personality, and smile. She definitely made our brunch experience delightful. If I'm ever in the area again, I definitely will visit famous toastery and hope to see her.

My wife and I come here all the time and have a great experience. Due to this, I made a this location a brunch stop for my student’s trip to Charlotte (35 people ) they were not only efficient but super friendly and patient with our students. Would 1000000% recommend. Big shoutout to Boris, Nashera, and Crystalyne. They were awesome. Give these guys a raise, whatever you need to do to keep em.

Right when we walked in the atmosphere was great! Our server we had, Nashay, was super nice and very helpful with everything. I would totally recommend coming here, food was a 10/10!
