They finally REOPENED!! The place looks better than ever, inside and out. The new owner, Tommie, has been in the restaurant game most of her adult life. Fenwick’s is in great hands. Service was great, vegan burger and fries were delicious, and the beer was ice cold. Happy we didn’t permanently loose another neighborhood gem!

My heart is just broken by the eminent closing of this restaurant. It was a blessed jewel my sister and I found six years ago after relocating from CO. As our sweet Catherine has journeyed on, so now has my darling sister and BFF, Miss Mo, who I lost 4 months ago. Catherine was always such a blessing to us--we simply loved her!
Our time dining at Fenwicks is the most memorable, fondest, and cherished memories I have of my sister. The wait staff from Sharon and Moe, to the chefs, and the awesome, sweet gentleman who assists behind the scenes with prep, etc. will surely be missed.
Moreover, the FOOD, the FOOD, the FOOD at this place is simply FANTASTIC! We came for the shrimp and burgers, but everything we ever ate here was AMAZING!!

One of our favorites. So sad they are closing. This was the only restaurant that we could go to when Covid was new because they did super spaced out outdoor seating. We have spent birthdays here, milestones here, the staff knows us as soon as we arrive, and it’s a shame that all of this will be ending soon. Hopefully they find a buyer who keeps it going.

Just had my last meal here. Steak sandwich. Not as good as it used to be. I guess because I was eating alone, did not get attention. Got in my car and employees smoking behind the dumpster. I'm sure Catherine would be proud.
My fiancé and I recently dined at Fenwick’s, and while the experience was largely positive, the dim lighting detracted from our overall enjoyment, preventing a five-star rating.
However, the food was exceptional. We started with the shrimp appetizer, a truly outstanding dish. The shrimp were fresh and delightfully crunchy, and the remoulade sauce was the perfect complement. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered a second portion and it was the right choice!
My burger, ordered medium-rare but cooked closer to medium, was still incredibly delicious. The American cheese was perfectly melted, and the patty was juicy and flavorful. The accompanying French fries offered a pleasant sweetness without being overpowering. My fiancé's club sandwich was equally well-received, and she took some home.
Service was nothing to brag home about, but it was decent for the type of cuisine it is. The restaurant's exceptional food is limited however with their impending closure in March.

Just heard of the closing in March 2025. We moved here 3 years ago. Had many meals and every meal was delicious. The staff, incredible, and always friendly and professional. God bless Mr. Rabb, his family and his staff. May god bless you with many years of happiness, great health and a well deserved rest. We will miss you.

We were passing through Charlotte on a Saturday afternoon when I spotted folks eating outside on Providence Rd. We got the delicious fried shrimp appetizer (no photo), seafood bisque with a salad. My husband got the quiche and fruit. We will definitely eat there again. I want to try everything on the menu!
